The Strider is legitimately one of my favorite mobs. I like how it's a more creative solution to the lava oceans than an obsidian boat, and it looks so derpy, just like Minecraft's other iconic mobs.

I believe the piglins farm striders for their string to make crossbows,hoglins for food or as mounts from the saddles in the hoglin stables bastion,the homing station bastions to farm netherwart incase they want to go to overworld and survive. And they can use the ruin portals in the nether to go to the overworld by minimg the obsidian.

Striders are cute, i have some in overworld savannah and inside my fort, and even some in nether, i found a zombiefied piglin riding 1 strider, found it so cool that i nametagged them, n put them inside a tiny illager home in nether, you can say that lonely patrol pillager captain finally got a friend(I'm a bedrock player).
