The two oceans mix all the time. There’s always a color change when there’s a difference in temperatures water, Content, salinity, etc. but eventually they mix together. That’s why there is many of the same species in both. I seen that same color change between the Goldstream off of the east coast of Florida in the shower with waters. Both of them are in the Atlantic.

For people wondering the actual reason it’s because the water of both oceans have different densities, salinities and temperature. This occurs at the gulf of Alaska where the Pacific Ocean meets the water from the melting polar ice caps. But the Oceans actually do mix a little where they border on each other. The passage you refer to actually refers to the sweet water underground and the salty sea water. This is the miracle of nature and the miracle of Allah Almighty, that many of the people don't believe in. The verse is talking about sea water and river water, not oceans. the sea water don’t flow into the rivers dominating it causing the fresh water to become salted, and though most rivers flow into the sea, the ocean water stays salty regardless of how much river water it takes in.
