I didn't know they were up there and I was defending the Embassy from partisans, I took fire from a building and I saw people up there and returned fire. I got a very stern talking to, was threatened with a kick and told never to fire up there again. The second time I went up there I shot an "unarmed civilian", which was the same "unarmed civilian" who killed my Sergeant with a bolt action rifle. (Apparently unequipping rifles equals being unarmed even if you saw in plain view the rifle in their hands)

The saddest part about the server in the mid part of the video isn’t so much the RP aspect within the server, but rather the fact they have a whole concord of discord servers where they write laws and policies and have a whole hierarchical bureaucratic structure to it all. Gotta love Star Wars RP servers where you gotta patrol all day and events are so heavily and poorly scripted they aren't fun anymore During the event, I remember them using a RS6 placeable shield mod and pressing E on them made them dissapear, making the admins very angry...might have done some covert trolling

"Patrol all day" is slang for not giving any good player incentive to do things and make the fun. I had performed medical seminars, check ups and had cleaned the messhall on downtime and uptime in a warhammer server. Nobody told me to do it, but fun is where you make it. One medicae and myself were doing a tools check, just securing equipment when my friend rolled a nat 1, so a bone saw went right through his hand. Que an hour of failed and successful medical malpractice until we both screamed "THIS MUST BE THE WORK OF RUINOUS POWERS" and began hunting for a Psyker to help (bully). The psyker checked the bone saw, and it turned out it was opening a literal portal to the Warp. (My story, I believe it did that because it was evil, and it totally wasn't coincidental to an event coming up) From then on, we made it our duty to seek out (bully the hell out of) Psykers for information on all medical tools to ensure no more warpiness.

I once RP'd out paragraphs for just opening a door. Then a CP told me to apply, so I reached into my jacket real quick and got beat down before they realized I was handing them my CID and I was a white band tier loyalist known for selling UU branded ramen, and yes that means that when I grabbed the loyalist snitch device and asked for assistance, the civil protection unit got the shit kicked out of him in the background. I would also help the resistance by distilling alcohol and would provide them with plenty of aluminum foil and told them to scrape the rust off of scrap metal to make thermite to melt combine locks. I also snitched on CPs a lot too. I got a CMD demoted because he had been carrying two LMGs around while drunk. This was done anonymously by using my CWU/loyalist access to leave typed up notes and photographs on the desk of the CWU human resources division. Else, I'd just blackmail lower tier CPs in exchange for loyalty points which would allow me to get credits, which I would use to buy contraband from rebels and give to the UU for more loyalty points. I would also gather evidence on rebels to basically hold blackmail on them to ensure they'd never harm me for being a loyalist. Basically I played a fucking rat that would just pit both sides against eachother to be able to live in the best apartment, eat well and barely have to work.

Honestly these 1940 servers would be better if they expanded more on Civilian/Military roles. And didn't give a lot of leniency to Partisans. I'd like for the number of civilians to outweigh military for the sake of balance, and for partisans to be in around even terms or worse off. (by making things harder for partisans, maybe they will hatch more elaborate schemes than fire gun and unequip, then call admins when you shoot the guy who shot you but since they are technically unarmed you are in the wrong and enjoy the 5 hour ban)
