Well the archetype has Chinese inspiration just like avatar. The idea is that the (non-effect) plain old humans, become powerful through martial arts training and the aid of ancient dragon spirits (wyrms) which I find to be pretty cool

It's not an instant PoG, so it's not exactly the same. The advantadge is the field draw effect can likely occur every other turn. The problem is it's susceptible to destruction or can be played around or through if you don't draw any handtraps off the draw two.

1:01 I don't think you need the summon to happen on your turn. The Monsters all have effects that go off in the hand, so the whole point of it is to give you some handtraps. I do get that drawing during your turn is the whole point of going off, but this deck has clearly stated that a majority of its support power goes off on either turn.

I think it might be better to get the non-Effect monsters from the Extra Deck instead of having them in the Main Deck. That way the Main Deck can work on generic strategies like swarming, hand traps and etc without being compromised by running too many bricks. There's a number of Non-Effect monsters per mechanic out there like Gem-Knights Zirconia and Pearl, Gagagigo the Risen, Synchro and Link Gaia, etc...
