I am a whistle-blower. My life, my health and financial stability has been under attack. Long story. Whistle-blowers should be embraced! They should be recognized, given a pat on the back and maybe even a reward for their bravery. I have lost almost everything.

CC I feel your pain- I too went through the same thing. Maybe it’s a turning point in our lives where we can move forward onto better environments. Whistleblowing implies it’s a toxic place to begin with. Time to rebuild. We’re stronger because of this.

Can you both please tell me what industry this was in ? Bradley Birkenfeld says he tries to help whistleblowers in the banking industry for reporting people who have hidden Swiss accounts and offshore accounts . I don't know if he helps other kinds of whistleblowers or not but he seems to have some connections and might be able to steer you towards someone who can help you get a little bit of compensation ...you never know .

When dealing with little kids, they really have a hard time understanding the subtle differences between telling and tattling. When tattling they are just trying to get someone else in trouble when they did nothing wrong. If rewarded by that and the other person gets called out on it, then the behavior will get worse . Telling is what they should do if another person is causing a dangerous or illegal situation. Too bad adults can’t be taught the difference too.

This is what our Education System says about Whistleblowers: TATTLETAIL: a person, especially a child, who reveals secrets or informs on others; a telltale. So basically our EDUCATION SYSTEM NEEDS TO STOP PUNISHING CHILDREN THAT TELL THE TRUTH! Thank you Kelly, I live in a Country (UK) that punishes the Whistleblower. The Bullies are always protected. I would love to talk to you. And thank you so much for sharing this video. I have shared on You Tube and Facebook. :)

Whistle Blowers should ALWAYS BE PROTECTED, PERIOD. The reasons Whistle Blowers are and were fired because they reveal the very corrupt system under which we operate. Those in Power want to keep the POWER attained which makes the WRONG choice RATIONAL to them. ETHICS takes a back seat to honesty. This creates and is the dilemma. Do I face retribution and being fired or go along with the program you know is wrong, illegal or possibly criminal?

Whistleblowing is cool and all but it’s not worth it. If I get fired from my job and can’t put food on my family’s table, and get fired on top of that, I won’t do it. And here’s a question for ya, why should I whistleblow on the company that actually pays me for the sake of people that I don’t even know?

What did he predict aside from 9/11? Because there, his prediction was pretty vague: he just predicted something would happen and Bin Laden would be blamed for it. Not exactly very specific.

Grazikon I wasn't going to entertain your ignorance BUT I'm in the mood 😂 he predicted both bush and Clinton would become president, he predicted public mass shootings would be engineered and used as an excuse to disarmed the people to do away with the second amendment. He also said cameras would be put up in the streets to spy on u.s. citizens . Should I keep going moron? It's the 1% vs the 1% vs the 98% idiots like you that choose to remain ignorant to what's going on.

@@StoicObserverS yeah it's a shame . One whistleblower who eventually ended up doing really well is Bryant Berkenfeld who blew the whistle on Americans not paying their taxes on hidden Swiss banks accounts at his bank UBS . He tells some fascinating stories here on KZbin . Another one is the gentleman but I can't think of his name who had worn the SEC and the Federal Trade Commission early on about Bernie Madoff but nobody would listen to him.... he's also here on KZbin .
