Hey guys, I'm from the Pantanal state (Mato Grosso do Sul) and I'd would like to suggest you if you head down to Campo Grande city, don't miss out the Park (Parque das Nações Indígenas). In this park in the middle of the city you can see a lot of wildlife, lots of macaws and capybaras and the animals aren't shy as in the wild as in the park they're used to be close to humans. 😁 Also there is the brand new Biopark Pantanal which is the biggest freshwater aquarium in the world. I recommend you to visit !!😉😊

Just a quick safety tip, watch out for ticks after going through areas with capybaras. If you got a fever go immediatly to a hospital, if you go to a sus hospital they are going to treat you for free even though you guys are foreigners. I've had lost a family friend just recently due to spotted fever. So you better watch out while going to areas with possibly infected ticks.

Hey guys, if you want to go to Rio de Janeiro state, there are a lot of nice places to get to know, such as Penedo, or Vale do Café, where you could maybe stay in a coffee farm, if you want to get to know the city, I recommend looking for an Airbnb in a house, where you can park your van in their backyard, you'll find such opportunities in neighbourhoods such as Joá, Barra da Tijuca, Recreio or Santa Teresa, in Recreio there are also some camping grounds, then there's Búzios and Arraial do Cabo, and towards the South, the Green Coast is very nice, but again, I'd advise you to park in someone's backyard, I'm sure there are plenty of places to find along this coast, even informally, where you just show up, and negotiate something with someone, there are plenty of small beaches along this coast, you could also head to Paraty and then to Trindade
