The surah itself doesn't mention anything about water from space or asteroid. It just says " We send down rain from the sky". It's a common fact. Not limited to Islam. Even people from different religions, cultures or civilisation already knows about this. Here I always thought that the aayah means the rain, but rain is not from sky, it's from the cloud, As-Sahab. Surah Hadeed also mentioned how Allah sent iron to earth. Allahu Akbar
