I tend to give more attention to what Israel does because as an American, the U.S. gives Israel billions of dollars, weapons, and then I am told I can no longer be a contractor to my state (Texas) because I won't swear loyalty to Israel. No one would argue they work all the time, but history is replete with instances of people marching and protesting at the right time on the right issue and helping to initiate change. That the marches could be effective is implicit in the video (it would be odd to be getting that upset about something he thought didn't make the slightest difference), and I was talking about the intent, not the effectiveness of such measures. The point is that generally speaking you march in protest at your own government, not just in general opposition to something bad happening somewhere else, and as such it's both not a surprise that the same people don't march for Syria and unreasonable to draw from that fact the absurd conclusions proposed in the video. Seems to me that the mistake you're making here is the assumption that everyone has the same set of prejudices as you, and that everyone sees the world in the same way as you. You see a rabble when people march, that's your prerogative, but don't for a second assume that everyone else sees it that way (there is, I suspect, a strong temptation for people to see a crowd with whom they disagree as a rabble and a crowd with whom they have no problems as a legitimate protest).

Syria was also a very complicated civil war that lasted more than 10 years and btw Israel helped the terrorist group 'El Nousra' and they also helped ISIS (not surprising as Israel supports terrorisme). 2- . 2- Even a conservative reading of the casualty figures shows that the pace of death during Israel's campaign has few precedents in this century, the proportion of civilian deaths is higher than any other conflict in the twentieth century. 3- Gaza is one of the most intense campaigns of civilian punishment in history, surpassing the Allied bombing of Germany during the Second World War in a much shorter period of time. 4- Doctors who have entered Gaza say that this is not a "normal war", that it is worse than war zones they have seen, that the aim of the war is "the destruction of all the components of modern life and is therefore better described as "annihilation".
