I 100% agree - I know that the Muslim rulers we have currently are not infallible and make mistakes, but that doesn't mean you have to go backbite and slander them. I'm sure that the scholars around them are advising them every day, and it is not easy to be a ruler. Instead of cursing them, make du'a for them by saying "Ya Allah guide the Muslim rulers to the straight path"

People not only criticise Saudi and its rulers but also criticise UAE, Egypt, Jordan etc and their rulers as well. There are few reasons but the top reason right now is everyone knows it Falasteen. Some have normalised relations and others are doing nothing about it. Even facilitating trade. Allahu Musta’an. Every people and especially these people in power and capability needs to do something to rescue our brothers. But the poison of nationalism has seeped within the ummah and each nation state will do only in (supposed)best interest of its own. This is an objective criticism and scholars in those lands also have a huge responsibility in trying to get something done but Alas those scholars who do some generic advice also gets arrested and what not. But there are bootlickers who will justify the imprisoning of innocent scholars. There maybe some deviant scholars as well but some are genuine schoalrs but being imprisoned or banned because it goes against the rulers policy.

People seem to forget that shirk is and will always be worse than zina, alcohol, nightclubs drugs and whatever. If we focused on building our ummah from our communities if any muslim leader decided to build 100 nightclubs it wouldnt matter as no one would attend them. One have to ask why they even built and allowed those haram places in the first place. They should also focus on helping the ummah but building clubs, allowing alcohol, etc? I don't know what their logic is. Also can they stop making hajj and umrah as a business? I wish Mecca and Madinah was it's own state like the Vatican.
