its took me about 2 years to go from a typical American 3 meal per day to one meal per day. Started by eliminating one meal, then waiting for my body to adjust, and then eliminating a second meal. After a year of one meal per day, i cant imagine how i ever ate 3 times per day, it seems like an insane amount. the human body is an incredibly efficient machine, and i suspect we need far less food than what we have been conditioned to need. Eating one good strong meal one time a day, gives me more energy and lets me get more done during the day, and i don't see going back to my old way ever.

at what time do you eat? And have you ever had to take medication that requires to be taken with food, in a morning and evening kind of schedule? Do you know how to make that work somehow?

After several years of "practice," I did an 86-hour fast in a 90-hour period: fasted 42 hours, ate a very healthy meal over a leisurely 4 hours, then fasted 44 more hours. It did feel good. I still remember the chopped apples, walnuts, and sheep yogurt "dessert." It was SO good. They say to do that 4 to 6 times per year, no more. Or at least not at my age! 😊

@@vladrileynavilys I can’t speak for the person you addressed the question to, but I’ve been doing OMAD as well. My husband and I decided 4:00pm worked for us. We don’t take any meds that require food with intake but perhaps you could eat something like a half avocado or cheese in the morning. Something low in carbs, higher in fat that won’t trigger much of an insulin response. If you’re going for atophagy, some people can get away with drinking coffee with cream and MCT oil or butter without missing out on that benefit. I’ve also heard bone broth can help.

Excellent presentation keep them coming I’ve learned so much from u over years to get healthy thank u doc! def do all those on non-lifting days also astaxanthin. My path was similar, stopped soda, started drinking coffee, but when started OMAD (& prolonged fasts) & healthy keto lost 100lb too fast so trying to rebuild all that lost muscle & tighten lose skin on whole foods omnivore body builder diet but also with all the longevity foods/supplements I can do like kimchi/kefir/garlic/tomatoes/arugula/avocados/lots of fruit tons of lean meat & way too many supplements but it’s all def working I reverse dieted from 2000 to 3000cal now while recomping & bench went from 135 to 250 in a year (newbie gains). Also another hack I learned from u during rona was the povidone iodine nasal swab when exposed, works pretty good most times!

About smoothies and juices: what about juices that are low-sugar: for example, about half green juice, half carrot juice, maybe with a splash of Apple? Also smoothies, I make my smoothies with green veggies, fruits, nuts or seeds, and Olive oil, don't they fiber, proteins and fats help slow down the sugar absorption?
@onestopcruise
@onestopcruise Ай бұрын
Yes, they do! I incorporate fruits (targeted), seeds, greens (Only one type), and proteins in my smoothies, along with a particular spice, supplements (targets blood sugar) that mitigates, prevents, and neutralize any potential spikes from the fruits added to them. Smoothies are just a great way for me to get more of important daily nutrients my body needs without putting the load on my digestive system to break everything down. The smoothie machine is MY external and additional digestive system. I check my levels 2 hours or less after smoothies just to see what they are and they are living below 100! Smoothies can be a GREAT and nutrient dense approach, ONLY if you know what to add to it for your particular body make up and requirements! After all, it's not a Dis-ease but a Deficiency and once you figure out what those deficiencies are and address them, you have eliminated the dis-ease. I don't believe in throwing out the baby with the bath water, I keep the baby and learn how to neutralize any potential harm that could arise! If you are seeing real results and progress with your numbers and the way you feel, and its working for you, keep the baby!

@@onestopcruise yes, I'm drinking one right now which contains blueberry, banana, papaya, organic greens, walnuts, salt, probably about a half teaspoon of sugar plus a little stevia. It would have papaya, but I ran out.
@onestopcruise
@onestopcruise Ай бұрын
@@nunnayabiz7911 Sounds delicious! You definitely have A LOT of sweeteners going on there, lol. The natural sweetness from the fruits alone are enough without the added stevia and white sugar! White sugar is a NO NO for me! Can't remember when I stopped using it, perhaps 2 decades ago. Whenever I consume 🍌 they are ALMOST ripe with a slight of green ( no browning or spots) as they become a resistance starch at that stage and actually decreases blood sugar levels on their own! However, when they are fully riped they increase blood sugar levels like CRAZY. Blueberries and papayas are fruits I personally stay away from due to their loads of natural sweeteners in smoothies. Strawberries and lemons (whole, without the peel) are the choice fruits added to my smoothies (daily) as they naturally bring blood sugar levels down on their own and cancel out other ingredients that might have higher loads of natural sweeteners, like pineapples ( I add pineapples sparingly and not all the time). I also add the king fruit, MANGOS as they are loaded with vitamins and minerals, and are nutrient dense! Now they do have a lot of natural sweeteners than the other fruits but I add other ingredients that cancels and neutralize the load of natural sweeteners they contain. Plus I take vitamins and minerals that targets blood glucose levels naturally, and I only consume a small amount of them mangoes. When I ✔️ my blood sugar levels 2 hours after consuming the smoothie it always comes back no more than 100.

Cells are more full when we are old? Dont we replace almost the entire body cells with new cells every 11-14 years?
@DrBeenMedicalLectures
@DrBeenMedicalLectures Ай бұрын
We do refresh parts of the cells in constant basis. The problem is the misfolded proteins Abbas epigenetic changes carried in the nucleus. Those are issues don't go away even when the cell is refreshed. We gotta remove these issues by intermittent fasting and other methods that I have discussed in detail.

I don't think this is a placebo effect, I often get a measurable boost in energy, mood and well-being after a big salad greens, a bunch of multicolored veggies, a few nuts etc, and oil / vinegar dressing. Even a non-organic salad salad, although I try to make everything organic when possible.

I was just reading an article saying that tinnitus may be caused by TNF-alpha in the brain. Scientists have shown that in mice and they have made a pill for humans to lower TNF-alpha in the brain for tinnitus sufferers. Given that tinnitus has been linked to cognitive decline and even Alzheimer perhaps TNF-alpha plays a role in these pathologies. But given that tinnitus sufferers socialize less and exercise less that might be confounders, so it is not sure, who knows..
