Wow, buddy that scenery at the end was incredible. I remember back the first time I went riding with buddies just after I git my bike. Told my dad I was going out riding. Met at a buddies house and a few of us rode to a sports bar 3 miles away to eat and watch a ball game. A few others showed and we rode down town to a fun biker bar, to check out all the bikes and shoot pool. A bit later we rolled to another watering hole, then another to finish off an “epic night of riding”… so everyone thought. The next morning I met my dad for breakfast, and he asked how the ride went. I was telling him how we rode here, then down the street to this place, then on to that place…. He laughed and said, that’s riding? What 18 miles? So we finished breakfast and go get your bike and meet me at my place and I’ll take you riding. So I roll up, he’s on the driveway waiting on me, I follow him, we take the back way out of town and must have ridden 350 miles, before we returned. He clarified my thinking as to riding versus bar hopping. Lol. Changed my life, and never looked back….. nothing better than getting out on the back roads taking in all the epic landscape we get to see, smell, and remember. Your content shows that better than the rest.

I remember in high school Monday would start with my friends bragging about their big adventure on the weekend, which mostly involved Friday night drinking and being hungover for Saturday and Sunday. My work life Mondays were much the same. My weekends were often spent trail riding my XR to some place I had never been before, cutting windfalls out with an ax, fording creeks, and chewing through mudholes, camping under a tree, and eating trail mix. More often then not if I tried to tell about my weekend it was listened to with a look of boredom and somehow the subject came back around to the "adventures" had by everyone else. After awhile I learned to just listen and not bore anyone with my dull life. Don't get me wrong, I like meeting the guys at a coffee shop or pub as much as anyone, but I just don't see that as the adventure, that's just the place to talk about the adventures and plan the next one. I guess that is why it has been years since I sat down with the guys, I just didn't want to bore them anymore. I am glad you discovered the excitement and pleasure of the journey, your Dad sounds like he was a pretty cool guy!

I love hearing these kind of comments, and to know that I helped in some small way to motivate someone to go out and experience the spectacular world we have for themselves. These are the comments that in turn keep me motivated to keep on producing vids! Have a great adventure and please keep the comments coming!

Hey I have been plugging along with my channel and it has been growing slowly, but now that you are back I know the pace will quicken. Thanks for returning! I do hope you have been enjoying my other vids and not just my satirical view of the world!

Sorry 2 woofs. I know I have said before that I like to offer the viewer a short escape from all the stuff both on KZbin and everywhere else that we are constantly bombarded with. My vids are just a journey for the viewer to enjoy and lose themselves in, and I like to think that, like a good road trip, the best part is in the middle, and without the middle the end has no meaning. In a time of individuals constantly on the search for the next dopamine hit, I put a ton of work into creating an experience that is just the opposite. I think it is something our culture needs more of, and I would occasionally like to share my opinion on that subject. For you and many viewers like you, I meant this video to be a good chuckle. For others I meant this video to be an introspective look at themselves and where we have allowed our culture to take us. And now I will return to my regularly scheduled programming! Hey I really appreciate your support, in watching, leaving a comment, and in buying me coffees. As long as I know there are guys like you enjoying what I do I will keep trying to provide a positive product! Thank you!

yes - there will always be those that don't ride further than the coffee shop..... most of your videos - aren't for them. This makes a great teaser video plan - I am totally going to be stealing this idea.... will most likely credit you for it - I am pretty good that way.

I have actually had conversations with people that view the road as an obstacle on their way to the destination. Obviously those conversations are short as we have very little in common to talk about! My vids are a surprising amount of work (or maybe I am just slow on figuring things out). I thought this would be a quick easy vid to build, but it really wasn't as easy as I figured it would be. But now that I have a template I might use the idea again for a teaser as well.
