KZbin age-restricted the original video after a day so it no longer got recommended, it stopped the viewership, and they took all the ad revenue. That video is still up but thought i'd try re-upload it slightly altered and see if it gets picked up in the algorithm again.

I see someone say he appeals to the lower society, I’m not one of those…but what I enjoy is he shows who he is and makes me laugh at the things he does. What’s in the passed is just that, I don’t look at his passed but what he is now. He shows us the real world , not what the media wants us to see. I’m a kiwi in New Zealand, a grandmother and I really enjoy his vlogs . Also know one has the right to judge others.

@@upyourgame8549I hear what you're saying but if you get the opportunity, you should still visit. It is a dark place and a reminder of the treachery that humans can commit upon each other. Cambodia is an amazing place and even after the horror the people have had to endure, they are the most humble, courteous and affectionate you will ever meet.

I really love Spanian. I came late to the party. Probably been watching him for about a year now. He is a genuinely likeable person from what I see of him. Loved the "It's All Eats" series. I get bummed out every time he is close to where I live and I miss out on meeting him. For context I am a 59 yr old grandma and like his mum I was a teen mum. Any one of my sons could have gone down the same street as Spanian, 2 of them did do time. I am just forever thankful that weed was their vice and not harder drugs. Best of luck to him and well done on turning his life around.

Life is never easy, but don't be a victim, we all have choices... make them wisely and don't blame your childhood, your friends, your family, etc etc... Take every opportunity and remain humble and righteous.

Spanian is true to the core. There is no bullshit with him. It sounds daft, but honesty is a very rare thing nowadays. Politicians should listen to the lad. Society would be in a much better place.
@DeneSimpsonАй бұрын
To me it's like he's seen that people think they must be how they have been told, educated, punished or civilised to be and are unhappy because of it. You can see he used to be the same and he pities them. I've not watched this vid but have watched some of his. Some bits I like, sometimes he annoys me - he doesn't give a shit. That's the point. I don't know his past, only he does, I don't judge 'cause I don't know. What I do know is that he's mentally freed himself. Maybe during his break in prison. I've seen some comments calling it "poverty porn". It's not, that's on mainstream tv, it's just that most of the people in poverty suffer like he used to, from limiting beliefs and dwindling power. He's there showing what it's like to suffer from the decisions of politicians. They absolutely should be listening to the lad! But they won't. At least those with any empathy won't - it'd "affect their decision making". I suppose the opposite would be "politician porn" - excuse the horrible thoughts that might induce - but his videos wouldn't work showing those who "believe they can do whatever they want". They are suffering too, rejoicing in pleasing their benefactors, whilst trying to ignore the suffering they cause in order to do so. Unfortunately these days both extremes are there to benefit the very elusive very rich. Maybe videos of politicians and the rich being honest would also help society be a better place. If you see any of those let me know! Most that try to make those get punished pretty quickly. E.g. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYrXZXaue8uEi7c

Lol. The only reason I even I even know who he is, I have three teenaged sons. They’re 18, 17 and 13 and (seriously) they’re more mature, have more insight and foresight than he does. They had a pretty rough upbringing too so his violence and thuggish behaviour can’t be excused because of his childhood or poverty.
@emilyroseayres848 ай бұрын
@@NathanMitchell-qk7nwI think you meant “I don’t see anybody…” etc. English grammar 101. The mark of a great person is not based off whether of not they have a following, popularity, fame or fortune. The best men I know, top blokes who work hard and are incredibly fathers, loyal and loving husbands and friends, they live their whole lives without feeling the need to make noise about what they’ve overcome and accomplished. This Spanian guy is no good. He’s really judgemental of the people who live in the communities he visits and is so ignorant that he doesn’t even bother to do research into the history of these places. When he bought all that alcohol for the Indigenous man in Alice Springs…horrible! No idea what alcohol does to those communities.

@crowandcrystal6 ай бұрын
Simplistic overview. It’s not easy growing up in poverty, you learn to find joy in dark places and the community that is built isn’t necessarily “clean” by greater societies standards but it is strong and close, and a means to survive. I grew up Houso and am out now but I understand why Spanian does what he does.. These communities by and large are invisible to blue collar and white collar families.. and we have felt that way. Spanian showcases our lives, the places we live or lived in, how we related and found connection with each other.. how we have found normalcy within an environment of so much instability. The communities we were placed within wasn’t chosen by us.. It felt like what it was, a group of undesirable’s thrown together from all walks of life of life.. As kids we walked into our local schools being teased and laughed at by blue collar brats who wouldn’t have survived a night in our homes… It’s therapy, it’s storytelling, it’s remembering the kids who didn’t survive their teen years… It’s just fucking human.
@angiedeans64109 ай бұрын
He shows kids these days now know how your life will look like if you choose to follow this path. And we all have a moment in our lives we all have, that lightbulb that says if you dont change you will die or end up in jail. Here he says only went to one class and that only two tradies with shovels came up to him.. but I watched another sit down interview of him (went for about an hour or so done by a guy from the UK I think) and he described it as he went room to room about 4-5 classes kicking open the doors, chasing kids on the school oval and out onto the streets then eventually got rushed by a whole bunch of tradies who got into him..? 😂 bit of exaggerating going on maybe..? After a couple of minutes he turns around Nd says, " how's that ? From prison cell to standing here" It wasn't those words he said but the look on his face. Spanian, in that moment realised he was as good as anyone else and that prison didn't define him , prison was a bad choice for a part of his life , When people get put down as a child they learn to believe it must be true. Spanian realises he's as good as any other person on the planet, he believes in himself. He backs himself. Debbie NSW
