I watched the series twice, and I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but just know you don't need to be a fan to appreciate the complexity and continuity of the story, the lore, the depth of character development. This series not only fits into the Fallot world, it easily could have been the story for Fallout 5! As far the scenery, you start in a place where your an arms throw away from everything and everyone. Then upon exiting the Vault that characters world was just magnified by a billion 😂. Her quest was in her mind was a straight line, however just like the game, side quest, new ally, side quest, oh and side quest. Definitely it must be watched more than once to catch everything, because as hyper focused as I was with it, I still didn't catch some Easter eggs, and parts of the story that alluded me, and trust me the last episode, the last 20 minutes! Yes! Yes! and oh yes! Very good, and true to a Fallout type of plot. You have to beige it man. Seriously! Idk if you've played Fallout 3 and 4, but that helps. Ik you played New Vegas... that will help. 😊 Also the big silver pip boy in the series. I don't know about you, but I seriously want one. I'm such a nerd! 😅 Can't wait for you to finish it.

Also, the thought of Eric playing a himbo is incredibly amusing to me.

Probably Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard. Got here a bit late. Actually, your Prometheus/Lovecraft video popped in my feed yesterday and watched that and the earlier sequel failures, and then it offered up this. I really enjoyed this series. I liked the little subtle things that are almost tropes for films, like The Ghoul shooting in slow-mo. Yeah, slow-mo in combat, that happens all the time. But in the context of the show, it felt like he had specialized in VATS.

Yeah, we stopped doing the podcasts cause they weren't really doing as well as regular videos. If there's more of a demand, we'll bring it back probably.

Unfortunately there's another moment of Todd Howard honesty in relation to Fallout 76: something along the lines of that the state of a game on launch no longer matters if they can fix it with post launch patches and fixes

Another great video game adaptation: Netflix Castlevania. I ABSOLUTELY love that

Fun fact: the Last of Us series was so good because the show runners bent over backwards to keep Sony meddling out of the creation

I just watched the last episode the other day (it takes me a while to get through shows) and I don't have a favorite character. Especially from the main three (Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul) they're all great

It was Fallout 76 that came with that bag, not 4

Could have sworn it was Fallout 4...

@storyrant definitely 76. It happened too recently to have been 4

Fallout 3 comments. I like 3. Many A True Nerd has a great defense of 3 in that there are lots of hidden gems and details you might miss on a straight playthrough. If you read the right terminal at Hubris comics before you deal with the Mechanist and the Ant-agonizer you get other dialog options. One I like, that is often not discussed, is in the NW corner of the map, you can get involved in a war between two ant colonies. No one sends you there. There really is no reason to stumble on it unless you decide to just explore all the parts of the map. Tenpenny tower is fascinating. Other than vlowing up Megaton, which at least one of my favorite NPC's, Moira Brown, survives. Thebwhole ghoul vs. resident conflict is great. And you can even find a way to peacefully resolve that quest, outside of having a jealous spouse murder her husband and the Tower's prostitute. Except, when you come back after doing the peaceful resolution, you notice the only inhabitants are Ghouls. And you find the original residents piled up in the basement. So, your happy, peaceful solution is not so happy or peaceful for the original residents.

Yeah, there are a few stand out quests in 3. Most of the hate is directed toward the main quest, though. I agree than NV is better, but I still enjoy 3.
