The Bible has predictions in the Old Testament that have come to pass thousands of years later in the New Testament such as the earth being suspended in space. Hundreds. I mean hundreds more. (Go KZbin it for a good awakening. Especially all of the coming to Jesus testimonies on KZbin...there’s again, hundreds. All told in coinciding parallels...I mean it’s nuts). The things and events that were going on in ancient Jewish history were recorded in exact accuracy throughout many other books not even relating to the Bible. There is no flaw. It has been studied more than Einstein’s brain by translators, Harvard graduates in eschatology. There’s this movie you need to see it’s great and called “Jesus the great debate.” It made me become Christian and yes I have read the Bible. I used to be agnostic borderline atheist until I had a spiritual encounter in church. It is all true what they say about the Bible after all. Nope. God really humbled me. After years of being “too rational” I opened Bible for the first time and what do I see after flipping to a random page...”God’s word is the same as it is today, as it was yesterday and will be tomorrow.” I thought it was sketch. I was right to think so and now I am educated and if u have any questions on your journey I will help you in anything you ask I know this to be the truth with every living bone in my body it changed me . You are going to have to give things up my brother, (I was a raccoon+ an acorn holding onto my life my ex, my career, my friends, my hobbies, my addictions) I mean God is business. This is eternity. The most IMPORTANT decision one could ever make. Soul insurance>retirement insurance. We are matter. Matter dies. Matter is comprised of Atoms but when matter dies atoms quickly recycle. So many people think nothing happens when we die. Those people don’t know science because an atom cannot be created nor destroyed and make up every living thing. And Newton’s 3 laws of motion point to an external force (God). Life is eternal and the only thing spearing u from God is the sin in which you are willing to give up in which takes strength sometimes miracles in which God can supernaturally supply, you can have a power in you called the Holy Spirit. This is all so real man, you just need to hit rock bottom and have nothing to loose sometimes to see that Jesus is the truth and doesn’t lead to destruction. The one thing that goes right when everything else is crumbling. He’s the perfect friend. Jesus changed my life.

If we're talking about suffering that is not caused by men (earthquakes, tornados, floods, avalanches, animal attacks, cancer, bizarre accidents, diseases, volcanos, tsunamis etc.), God cannot be both all-good and all-powerful. If he's all-powerful, he would be able to prevent such unnecessary suffering. If he's all-good, he would want to prevent suffering. Since suffering does happen, God either can't or doesn't want to prevent suffering.

Meaning he wants everyone to turn from sin so that many might be saved instead of being damned. It is not God’s will for any to perish, nor is it his will for children to be raped. In fact, read what Jesus said about what should happen to someone who causes a little one to sin. He said it would be better for a millstone to be hung around his neck and thrown into the sea. God allowing sin does not mean he condones sin. It says every sinner will have his part in the lake of fire. I believe God allows suffering in the world to get our attention and turn to Him. If everything went well all the time we would take his grace and mercy for granted. The psalmist said, “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word” (Psalm 119:67). I heard a wonderful teacher say once “instead of asking God, why are you letting people starve in Africa, God should be asking us the same question”. Free will has consequences if we choose to abuse it. Blaming God for every tragedy in life doesn’t seem fair.

if you read the Bible you would understand God is in control of pretty much everything. Isaiah 45::7 I am the LORD, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the LORD, do all these things. "You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. John Piper said From the smallest thing to the greatest thing, good and evil, happy and sad, pagan and Christian, pain and pleasure - God governs them all for his wise and just and good purposes (Isaiah 46:10). We were also given free will to choose, so humans can and do create major tragedies and God allows it but it’s not His fault. Jesus also preached to approach our brothers and sisters in faith with love and gentleness, even if we disagree. Paul also was very clear on that in 1 corinthians. The word 'trust's made all the difference to me. I literally said, 'I trust you, Lord', and for some reason, it made things easier to understand. I had a drug problem for years. I once quit and thought I had beaten the habit. But I hadn't. Then one day, when I was absolutely repulsed by what I was doing to myself, I realised that I couldn't do it. I needed Jesus.
