How deep of a doctrinal understanding does a person need to be saved?
@slowrabbit4626Ай бұрын
You don't need any deep doctrinal understanding to be saved. This video explains that there's no work you can do to earn salvation. However, once you're saved, you'll discover that Jesus is more glorious than you ever knew before, and His words are full of wisdom and delight. You'll want to meditate on His word for the rest of your life. Over time, you'll develop a deeper understanding.

@@RL-tg6ds I’m not a theologian or pastor… I know that Spurgeon was moved by the simple text ‘Look unto Me and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.’ He looked to Jesus and to God… but my own favourite ‘parody’ of the idea that we might need a very detailed and robust theological knowledge in place in order to be saved is Alistair Begg’s very moving speech, “The man on the middle cross said come.” kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpycqJqAd9R4mposi=isbjTrN8DaWIdCLV
