Lionel Messi has been a very hard working player for Argentina, Barcelona, and PSG, but why does he walk around the first five minutes of every match? Lionel Messi clearly isn’t lazy, so what is the Paris Saint Germain forward doing in these five minutes? In this week’s Justin’s Case, Justin investigates what Messi is doing during the first five minutes of football matches.

Some of the passes Messi has been making over the last 15 years can only be explained if you are looking at the game from a bird's eye view,. How he does it? You gotta ask him. But then again, he spent a lot of time learning from 2 of the top 5 midfielders in football history- Xavi and Iniesta

Actually xavi and Iniesta were revolving around messi. Centre of that trio was always Messi. Only people who watch the highlights. Says that he learned from them 🙏. It's more like supporting players the 3 of them. They bring out the best of themselves, When they played together. All the assists where the cumulative plays the three carried out and That's something that they won't show in a highlight.

But however I think there's a weakness in your front 3, Neymar - Messi - Mbappe aren't known for pressing a lot, it will be easier for teams to bypass the first line of defense Wonder how Poch will set his midfield to cover for that maybe the FBs can overlap to join attack and one midfielder to make 6 attacking players and then have 2mids and 2 cbs ready to cut out attacks

Having turned 30 this year and my drop in stamina due to lack of activity during Covid times, I often mimick Ozils game where he intentionally overloads one area of the pitch to draw in opponents to release his team mates in space on the other side. This makes the game more manageable when your mates are rushing with their passes or final balls that its frustrating having to build up the game from scratch time and time again

PSG has a wildcard called Messi and its not an easy player to have, cuz in order to use him and unlock his whole potential, you have to build your entire team and system around him. Only if Messi becomes the leader and main man of PSG will PSG be able to unlock the amazing talent that Messi holds. As long as Messi is "just another player" then they won't really get what their money paid for.

Guys, pay attention to the fact that CR is 2 years older than Messi (it is Messi's beard that makes him look older lol)! Certainly, different players have different playing tactics, but age is not one of the reasons for Messi not to run on the court. Both LM and CR are miraculous players, and I honestly believe that Messi will make a very good coach after he retires👌

Yup he’s figuring out where the spaces will be and how the defence has been told to react. He’s checking zonal marking and where defenders will follow and not follow. He’s checking the midfield and seeing where the spaces are that he can exploit based on their tactics. In reality all players should be doing this and world class players all do to some extent but it’s more noticeable for him I think because he quite literally walks around inconspicuously lol
