The sky is blue and surrounds us. I'm just saying 😂

Indeed. If I can manage to witness that, I’d die happily on the spot.

Blue is my favorite color, I would literally go watch this every night if I could

Magnificent. This is far better than any light show that man can ever create. I’d choose that over any fireworks display any day.

I was able to see Bioluminescence along the shore at Dana Point and Crescent Bay which are in the Laguna Beach area. It was pretty cool to show it to some of my fellow Marines.

What time of year does this happen? Was there this summer, the nature there is truly immaculate, went snorkeling at 2 different beaches and one had seals and a “small” kelp forest while the other had sea lions and garbaldi damsels. In addition I also went whale watching and got to see blue whales in person as well as common dolphins and ocean sunfish, was a truly incredible experience.

it's random, but most likely from april to october and usually only lasts a day or so. it's so fast that most san diegans have never seen it.

#DinoflagellatesGOALS !! Superb capturing and edit as always in all ways. Thank you for reminding people of what great importance and admiration they are missing out on. We all must truly bestow an increased appreciation of Mother Nature as it is grossly lacking in North America alone.

Not only are these rare, but a lot of the time it’s due to a more toxic algae bloom, the result of warmer oceans, which can cause illness. The last bit is true, I grew up there and only saw it maybe once from a distance.

Blue neon algae. I have seen the blue haze there. But do not swim in it.
@jennas2068Ай бұрын
What time of year did you see it?
@JJDigitalartStudioАй бұрын
@@jennas2068 May I think. It was a long time ago. We used to go every year. Usually early before May 30.

It's not blue. It's teal. It only looks blue on camera. Just like the northern lights aren't actually green. They're white in real life, but look green on camera.
