I recently brought s8 ultra for $550 and best part was it comes with keyboard and back cover for this price. i gotta say this can be easily a basic laptop replacement if youre not into games. the big screen is the real deal . it is so comfortable to watch youtube, twitch, multi app when youre on the bed relaxing.

Save yourself ALOT of money. Buy an S9 tablet (ultra or plus) Same if not better performance (because of heat control) and barely any difference in processing power. You'll find so many second hand ones, refurbed ones, open box ones for cheaper. I just got my S9+ and I'm happy to save £400 just by getting one refurbished, which a £500 saving over something that is an inferior upgrade.

Thought the same from day 1. S10 is not worth that much more for the small small gains. S9 Ultras are going to be a bargain soon!

Hey Daniel, I'd like to commend your work. I'm a Samsung user, and your videos help me a lot when I have doubts or even when I want to keep up with new releases. I understand this is a Tab S10 Ultra video, but I’ve just seen that you use a PD Everyday Backpack V2, and I’d like to know your experience with it. I’m planning to buy the 30L as my EDC, using it for work and stuff, but I’m not a photographer. I’m an engineer who carries a laptop, tablet, mouse (sometimes the keyboard), one of those tech bags, gym shoes, and my lunch. Sometimes I have business trips and will use it then too. How is your experience with yours?

Great video. I have said this on other videos reviewing the Tab S 10/Ultra, a couple of months ago I was choosing between the older Tab S 8/9 models, but then noticed the Galaxy Book 3 360 13.3 being heavily discounted hereinthe UK. At the moment the i5 version is £549, but in another big store I got the i7 version for £799. Every Samsung specific app I use on my S23 Ultra is available on the Galaxy Book, plus all the PC apps I use. The 65w power adapter, USB-C cable and S-pen came in the box. Samsung gives a look choices.

I switched from the iPad Pro 12.9 M1 to the S10 Ultra. I use my tablet as my main media consumption device. My stepson and wife are constantly using our TV and I also travel for work so the S10 Ultra has been awesome. From the larger screen and the much better aspect ratio for media consumption, I much prefer it to the iPad Pro. Battery life has also been a huge improvement. I also game on my tablet and that's my only complaint here. The Tab S10 Ultra can't run Warzone Mobile for some reason. It's more than powerful enough, but hasn't been optimized yet. Every other game runs fine.

@@techwithbenefits When I discovered Samsung DeX (not used on external display but as the tablet default GUI) it has become my default. Almost like a computer. After the suffering of iPadOS limitations, this is the redemption itself. I use the tablet exclusively for work (projected presentations with the use of S-pen - also marvelous by the way) and S-pen annotation of documents. There are some problems with windows tiling though but far far more user friendly than the damn ipad. By the way, can you turn of the windows snapping (magnets) function? So that I can place my windows anywhere even half off the screen.

I had an S9 Ultra and my wife had the S8 Ultra. I ordered the s10 ultra for me and secretly traded my wife's S8 for a $750 discount. I gave my wife the S9 and she didn't realize. S10 ultra is a great device. I mainly use it for movies and browsing. All these devices are awesome and the s10 is we worth the upgrade. Thanks for the video! Was under 500 for me to upgrade the s8 to a s10 ultra with 1 tb.

The anti-reflective coating on these displays is very good but there is one negative about it. I take very good care of my devices but I use my s24 a lot.. literally using it most of the day and my s24 ultra has the anti-reflective coating wearing off around the fingerprint and main areas I touch. I was hoping this anti-reflective coating was actually baked into the glass but it's not it's an actual film that they're putting over the outside of this display which as we all know even the hardest screens get micro scratches which obviously eventually has worn through

Do you have a recommendation for a USBC hub that can do 4K at 60Hz in Dex? I have a Cable Matters USBC to HDMI that worked at 4K 60Hz on at Tab S9 Ultra and Fold 5 with no problem. However it doesn't work on the Tab S10 Ultra. Do you know what the specs are of the Tab S10 Ultra's USBC port? There is no info from Samsung to help find the right ones. Thank you.

I decided to return my Samsung tab S10 ultra. I love my s23 ultra phone but I just couldn't get along with this tablet. It's the size of a laptop, it's more expensive than many laptops, but it runs Android so its really just a massive phone. It simply cannot compete with Windows or MacOS for productivity and business applications and for this kind of money Dex should offer more. A desktop class web browser for a start please???? Android web browsers are rubbish, none more so than Chrome. ChromeOS destroys Android in this respect. Let's be honest, these things are just too expensive for what they are. They are netflix and notetaking devices. Can't run professional apps, web browsers dont behave well with Office 365 and Google Drive and monitor support not good enough. Portait mode? Nope? Still? Come on! Simply no reason for these devices to be so expensive.

I love my s8 ultra, best purchase I have ever made for media consumption. I mean, I've been enjoying this tablet so much that everyday I use it, my mood gets much better. It's amazing for gaming, music, movies and occasional note-taking and light email work from home. DEX is just fine for what it is, but you are right, if you picked this tablet for productivity, you will be disappointed. But Ipad OS is not much better, so traditional windows and MacBooks are still lightyears ahead.

By the way, these things ARE expensive, but samsung always have some good trade in deals going on. So if you want a great tablet, this is the way. Software support is also miles ahead of android competition. And yes, if you get 5G version, you essentially buying another phone, ipads don't to that, you are stuck with data only. This is incredibly helpful when your phone is dying, you get a massive backup communication device. Tablets are still for entertainment and only light productivity. Unfortunately, both samsung and apple trying to sell their tablets as full laptop replacement, but we all know it's bs.

Not denying its nominally better, but for 99% of people who own a Tab S8 or 9 Ultra....there is zero reason to upgrade it. And for 99% of people that want a Tab S Ultra....the smarter buy is to find used or discounted S8 and 9 Ultras.

Yeah that's fantastic BUT I still don't like the Mediatech chipset and why is because yes it does outperform the snapdragon gen 2 in the tab s9 ultra BUT we'll never be able to compare it with a snapdragon gen 3 chipset so any comparison between the tab S10 ultra and the tab S9 ultra regarding the chipset is non starter samsung should have stuck with the snapdragon gen 3 chipset with the tab S10 ultra
