Why does this keep happening to me? Vlog 811

It's now officially the week before lambing, and although we are keeping our pregnancy toxemia issues in check, I'm once again having KZbin issues with my content.
If you guys have any suggestions on what you think my channel is being flagged for, please let me know!
Anyway, it's a week of preparing for our wee ones, which after all these problems, I can't believe I'm still excited for.
We cleaned our lambing pens out, and are in the process of our last minute jobs so we aren't scrambling if these mamas start popping early!

What I find bizarre something like birth, the issue of nature, etc is censored especially when people being blown away, assaulted and other low rent forms of violence and destruction are tolerated and allowed . You do an incredible job and are very appreciated !!!

KZbin is being petty about such stupid things. There are homesteading families putting out videos that show their young kids helping out with chores and projects. Which is how farm life is! And these farm family videos have been posted for years. Now KZbin is telling them the young kids can't be in the videos unless they're labeled as being videos for children and they get paid less. Or they continue without showing the younger children in the videos. Totally ludicrous! Just like your videos KZbin is forcing creators to hide the reality of what life is like. I don't get it, and neither does anyone else. I don't know if KZbin has an issue with accepting reality, but they need get out of their corporate offices, put their bare feet in some grass, breathe in some country air, and remember what life is really made of.

YT needs to look at applying their rules equally. Other animal birth videos (horse, cow, dog, cat), as well as medical videos (surgeries, warts, cysts, earwax) are shown without blurring. You absolutely have every right to be frustrated. I agree that the educational benefit is lost when YT does this. Sandi, your compassion and desire for excellence are off the charts. You are appreciated!

Those videos are also censored if they get too "graphic" which is mostly just blood. True crime, medical and even art channels that show a little too much skin get flagged and censored because of how strict it is.

Many of those blur. Or recolor blood blue. Bondi beach vet clinic one even blure beedels now. Old posts is not but sence a few years back they blur most things. Even a pets rash or a dog puke or needels or it's rediculus

Some people just don't know what it means to have a healthy, wholesome video channel. Sandi & Mark are the best. Another channel that I follow faithfully, and needs more viewers, is @ThePethericks. Just as wholesome content, but Billy and friends and family are renovating an old convent in Ernie, France. He needs more viewers as do his other friends. Very nice content and KZbin needs to stand up for its content creators! Love Willow being the leader of her group. Isn't she also pregnant?

It’s just because of blood, it’s nothing to do with Sandi specifically. I’ve noticed a lot of like the greys anatomy shorts and true crime creators are making anything scenes that shows blood grey, to stop it being picked up automatically. It’s just their way of trying to stop other things with blood getting seen so easily. Being a free to use website they have to keep advertisers happy, to make money. It’s stupid still- but it is what it is.

One reason is DEI hiring that doesn’t necessarily bring the right people to the right spot in a company. Usually KZbin helps creators and their community through Twitter. If people make enough noise, they tend to take a look at the situation. But that's usually for one video, not a series of videos. Sandi could look into marking her videos as educational in nature, but I don't know if the monetization of those are as good as other KZbin videos.

In flipping through KZbin I've seen videos posted of full vaginal births and another posted that showed hamsters fighting each other (very bloody). My 5 year old granddaughter is always curious and when I mentioned lambing she wanted to watch. We had a long discussion about what she’d see and she finally said, I get it nana, it’s like when I was born…Can I watch now. So, I let her watch. She was enthralled and did not get squeamish. The only thing she remarked on was why the lady didn’t cut the sheep’s bellies open when they had the baby. That’s when I remembered my daughter delivered her babies by cesarean section. 😂 😂😂. We both agreed mom should have tried to do it the sheep way cause it’s better than cutting up your belly. Oh gosh, I love seeing these babies learn and grow.

I just can't understand how You Tube can block such educational content. Back when North America was being settled, all of the children saw nature in the raw. Why shouldn't they now? I saw the video before it was flagged. It was a good video showing the ups and downs of sheep farming. I didn't find it offensive in any way. Your protocol and proactive response to the ewe was excellent, even though the outcome was heartbreaking everything possible was done. I've raised puppies in the past and a few of them didn't make it. I did everything including mouth to mouth. Sometimes my efforts payed off, and sometimes sad endings. Looking forward to the next lambing, my favorite sheepish videos.

I have come to appreciate our farmers so much more since I’ve been watching @sheepishlyme It floors me that anyone or any organization would censor these types of videos. Sandi is doing incredible work which benefits both other farmers as well as those not farmers. You rock!💕

KZbin is so inconsistent when it comes to censoring. I have seen things that have scarred me for life happily allowed by YT and the most innocent of things censored. I think it quite honestly depends on who is on duty each day. I cannot imagine how frustrating it must be to have to completely sanitize an educational video (for that is what these are) and still have it rejected. Thank you for what you bring to us. Great job on the cleanup.

I have found that You Tube is much more lenient about letting natural events be shown if you provide appropriate warnings and context to help viewers understand what to expect. That way viewers that may be upset or offended or small children will know ahead of time and be able to choose to watch or not.

That may be it. Even though I have no small kids, YT algorithm will sometimes put a weird pop up to do with "YT Kids". A warning or disclaimer regarding " graphic depictions of birth" or something like that may be exactly what's needed.

I believe you are being censored because you are extremely popular. You have been setting standards in numerous fields. Take it as a compliment of sorts.
