Remember as a kid being able to get a pound of cheese from the deli at wawa. About 10 years or so ago when they started to expand their quality has gotten so bad. Never go to wawa to get my hoagies anymore

Unpopular local opinion. From South Jersey and not at all a fan of Wawa. I buy my coffee elsewhere and my hoagies. Wawa had much better sandwiches when they had a deli counter and sliced everything on site. I’m excited anytime I travel to locations with Sheetz stores- Sheetz trumps Wawa for me.

Used to love Wawa. They had a few items that they did extremely well. Specifically their hoagies. Meats, lettuce, tomatoes, all cut fresh. Sadly they have gotten way too big and the quality has suffered as a result. These days they try too hard to offer too much and none of it really stands out as any good. Best thing about them now are their hours! Convienience over quality I guess.

This video didn’t really explain why wawa is popular. It just explains why a group of people like a certain store. You could have literally replaced wawa with 7-11 and the content would still be the same.
