Why Doesn't Macc Man Have The Same Problems As DJ Audits?

Macc Man is a great vlogging channel and I recommend all subscribe, but he does seem to admire DJ Audits and here I wonder why such a nice person would heap praise on him, even calling him a ‘Master Auditor’?

Most auditors are educationally deficient and have little grasp of law or rights they're claiming to uphold and protect. A vast majority of encounters are actually detrimental to the very cause they're supposed to be protecting. Many of these people's actions could illicit responses from authorities which will impinge on ordinary people's freedoms in the shape of new laws and more powers for local authority's to deal with the disruptive behaviour, but unfortunately that is likely to affect innocent folk too by a blanket effect e.g. tightening of drone laws and public nuisance/protest legislation which can be misused by police etc.

If you go out seeking confrontation, then you can usually find it. A lot of what these 'auditors' do is designed to generate some sort of interaction and their methods have been modified to enable that to happen.

Sad to say marty b could learn some new techniques from macman instead of his usual shouting and insulting Ive seen some of the baldyman videos and its quite interesting how people live and work in other parts of the world and where baldy man is good because he shows respect and again marty b would struggle in that department

I've been photting and videoing for 40 years at railway, mines, powerstations, etc etc and yes I have had run ins with over zealous security where they have overstepped the mark in respect of public photography, yes they've even called the police. It gets resolved, even if they get the cobb on I stay calm and respectful, I'm a nice guy and firm in my stance over photography, unlike the frauditors I don't go out for conflict I go out to just record the landscape and the interesting things in it. All these guys have done is make every site more suspicious in order to make money and in doing so created a toxic culture around street photography which never used to be there before these clowns.

Mac mann doesnt hastle private buissness. He is polite and probably asks in a polite mannor. These social media auditors are only soing it foe the clicks and views ajd free money. I thought mac mann was being sarcastic but not seen the video to make that determination

You can either operate as a limited company or as a sole trader registered with HMRC. Accountants tell you it is more financially viable to move from a sole trader to a limited company when you hit £30-£35k annual turnover, but the choice is yours. If you exceed £85k turnover over the previous 12 months then you are legally required to register with HMRC for VAT irrespective of whether you are a sole trader or a limited company.

@@three-phase562 Nigel ( DJ Audits ) only has his company AC Adapters r us registered on companies house , his DJ Audits channel is nowhere to be mentioned , i have actually reported him to HMRC regarding his channel and the Money he says he earns from it

I think he is not paying tax and could be in for a heavy fine or a very large tax bill regardless if he is a company or a sole trader... £0 - £12,570 - Tax Free - 0% £12,570 - £50,270 - Basic Rate - 20% £50,271 - £125,140 - Higher Rate - 40% £125,141+ - Additional Rate - 45%

To be fair to DJ he could well be paying tax on additional income through self assessment. As far as I know he doesn’t have to be registered at companies house (assuming he doesn’t meet the VAT threshold). I suspect he doesn’t but it’s a bit harsh to assume he doesn’t pay tax.

@@mdmoore100 averaging around 10k a month I would have thought he would be liable for tax. from only what he mentioned in the the last 3 months would definitely require declaration. he could well be and that's why I said I wonder. it also begs to ask the question that if he is a sole trader he is a business and should be registered as a data controller with the ICO.

@@vince-n If those figure are true, then he would need to be registered for VAT on top of paying income tax. He also has the affiliate links and believe he has received a drone from a company, which would also constitute as income.

This a so called free country we don't live in a dictatorship like North Korea, China or Russia were there is restriction to what the population can do and monitored but may think so the way some of the police and private security guards behave. I have learned a lot watching DJ and others videos about what legal rights we have about filming in public and also drome flying and the way the people like staff, security, police try and squash them and come up with non existent laws. I think that DJ is always pleasant to the person that confronted him and clearly and explains what he is doing within his lawful rights. Everyone need to hold any person in authority including the police to account. I agreed that some of the auditors are looking for trouble and use it for click bait, good luck to them earning money for their videos and may they continue.

Yes dj is a pleasent person, except when he's assaulting old people, running over cyclists and also abusing people auditing his company.
