I like as well DMK however, it's not a 50/50 choice. DMK is totally designed for low cost airlines while BKK is designed for major airlines mostly. If you fly from US or Europe, you won't get any flight to DMK.

There is a local but that takes you to the last BTS stop and from there you go straight to the city centre, however, reaching BKK is maybe like 50 cents more expensive if you just take the metro that goes there.

DMK has a SRT (20 baht only )red line connect to Blue Line at grand station bangsue to old town Bangkok or Terminal 21 at sukhumvit station

Do you need transit visa if you have connecting flight to other countries. Even if you not leaving airport and going to be there less than 12 hrs

don’t be like this dude above me you have never used Don mueang Suvarnabhumi is overrated there’s COCKROACHES IN THE BATHROOM no bathrooms at the gates AT ALL (you gotta wait till the gate opens and there are NO seats when waiting for the gate to open because they are all taken) Don Mueang has EVERYTHING. Go Don Mueang for a Budget Amazing experience and go to Suvarnabhumi if you want to go international. I would rather go to don mueang instead of Suvarnabhumi.
