1:30 correction aircraft carriers also use e-2 hawkeyes and c-2 Vikings which are actually quite big. They are pretty much the same. The e-2 is the one with the giant disk and c-2 is just a plane

look up HMS Habakkuk, a proposed Aircraft carrier in WW2 with a 600m landing stripover a mile long, the kicker it was to be made out of Ice and wood pulp basically (Pykrete).
