I gave lessons to a friends granddaughter last year and she had an Ibanez acoustic. It was all laminate but sounded great. It was set up great, sounded great plugged in. Underrated for sure.

I have a Ibenez Elec/acoustic I've owned it for 28 yrs and it plays great I used it in my band for years. For me its the best acoustic/ Elec I've ever played, the neck & fret board are to die for it the neck is as fast as many of my electrics . Ibenez makes some good stuff!

Looks and sounds good to me, and personally..... I dig Ibanez Acoustic guitars. I have one similar to this. Full-size dreadnaught.. with the cutout. Natural, open-pre wood grain. And man I LOVE it. I've had it for 5 or 6 years, and it's still fantastic. One of the better playing acoustic guitars I've ever played. I love it.

It sounds great and looks cool. I have a budget concert sized ibanez too, and its wonderful. I recently put a nice set of elixirs on mine and they made it even better

I completely agree with you Joe. I don't know why Ibanez doesn't get any more love? Every Ibanez that I have ever played sounds great.

Never played a Ibanez acoustic. I know that the Ibanez Gio's that sell for around $200.00 are far better than the $200.00 Squire's. They even come with generic Dimarzio pu. The frets & fret ends were heads and tails above the Squire sonic's.

I bought my son an Ibanez acoustic-electric a few years back. Looks a lot like yours. As you say a very bright guitar and quiet when not plugged in. Unfortunately the frets sprouted badly and it’s a cheese grater up and down the entire fretboard. I could fix them, but I’m not inclined to. There are other, better axes already in the house.

Ibanez makes great inexpensive guitars. I have an acoustic, electric and a bass. All great.

Guitar playin' is often guitar dreamin' and and Ibanez just never got the love. It is hard to think " Ibanez" and not visualize some Steve Vai-ish image. The Artwood series (AW)have always been hard to sell. Some of them can be great. I have a dreadnought AW mahogany. It is a great guitar. It is super fun to take to some Bluegrass thang. Those type usually just hate Ibanez...." That ain't no dern Marrr-tin"... Yours is Cort I. built. Great guitar. You'd love it's AW brother. Used ones show up fer nuthin'.

Another good video, Joe! To the best of my knowledge, Gear Nuts IS Sweetwater. It's the name they use to sell on Amazon, and is totally a part of Sweetwater. At least that is what I was told by a reputable source...

Joe, last winter I got a great deal on a Guild OM240CE you featured, or I might be considering this Ibanez- which is nicer than a similar Fender acoustic but priced right they're all pretty good. I think GC has had a couple blowouts on those, the 135 model? But anyway we can get some surprisingly good factory guitars now in the say $200-500ish range. It's great! I like my Guild more all the time btw and I appreciate your tip that led me to it.

Congrats on the new acoustic - very bright sounding (I'd assume it would sound even brighter through the piezo) When you said alternative woods I thought perhaps it was wood that listened to REM, The Sniths, and Mazzy Star 😂 (I'll see myself out)

this has a very bright sound which is good if we looking for that bright sound... After owning Acoustics , I give on them.... but I must say this sounds better than my fender Newporter in my opinion , but I think I am done with Acoustics Ibanez makes killer electrics

Very Cool, Thankyou Joe. Nice looking and sounding Acoustic. Congrats. I was SO lucky to find a bargain used Ibanez AW15 'Artwood' Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar local to me a few years ago. Was not in the market ..... for acoustic lol... but went for a look, not expecting much as very inexpensive @$120- with hardcase. Oh My, It instantly became clear that this Ibanez Artwood Acoustic is an Exceptional guitar ...... too good to play as rarely as I do, sadly. The extreme quality of The Ibanez Artwood made me 'take notice' of Ibanez, and now Also own an Ibanez Talman Electric/Acoustic which is great, fun, quirky guitar(sort of an offset acoustic, cool shape) also recommended if found at reasonable price. All the Best. Cheers

Are you playing through an acoustic amp?
@AJgeartalk13 сағат бұрын
Hey Kenny. No- playing through my 20 watt Blackstar amp.
@Mr.PhatsVarietyVibesShow6 сағат бұрын
@@AJgeartalk Acoustics with Piezo should only be played though an acoustic amp Electric guitar amps can't capture the nuances of the piezo I have a few acoustics we have to play those with an acoustic amp it's all about the internal cone that those amps are designed for acoustics. I am sure if we played this guitar with an acoustic amp it would sound much better

@@BoltRM i believe they make some acoustics with that headstock, or at least they did in recent years
