I have close Indian Jewish friends here in Israel. They all say that they had good lives and were treated good in India, and that them coming to Israel has nothing to do with how they were treated in India. They miss India and still have family there. India is one of the few places, where minorities seem to be able to live freely. What has happened is, in the successive congress administrations, Muslim community was placed on high pedestal for vote bank politics compared to all others, even Hindus. Remember when ex-PM Manmohan Singh said to the utter surprise of everyone in the country that muslims have the first right to nations resources. How idiotic was that? Now, that Modi government has removed appeasement politics, muslims are not happy. This should have been the norm all along. I am a Christian from NE . I have to say that Hindus are far more tolerance than Muslims. They are considerate and friendly ( from who. i know ) . They give us minority many advantages in terms of Govt. jobs , posts, scholarship, etc . , which is even hard to achieve by even Hindus themselves. It's not about education. My friend (she's from a very conservative muslim family) has done her BA in history but suddenly has turned super religious and anti-hindu. The problem is in the madarsas where they teach wrong facts and radicalize muslims. The recent Saudi wave has also been negatively affecting muslim population of most countries while Saudi Arabia themselves are moving towards a more liberal form of Islam. Compulsory moral education as well as high surveillance in madarsas are important to curb terrorism. Muslims should know that aggression and conversion isn't what the Qur'an maintains and promoting these acts only takes them further away from true Islam
