I am glad there is a good way to treat flies. They drive me crazy and I miss them more than I get them.

@@rmiller8000 They wreak havoc on the cows, so we try our best keep them at bay!

Where did you find this mineral feeder set up? I want to try it. Currently using the round style with the felt lid, but your setup looks better. Thanks!

@@kimberlyhightower3811 Thank you! These are made by Sioux Mfg. and I got them from Parsons Ag Center in Shelbyville, MO. I’ve been using this style for almost 20 years, and love them.

Many Years ago Temple Branden came to the Univ. of Mo. to demonstrate Her method of cattle handling. Homer Sewell invited Me to the meeting with him. Homer set down and to his left was Martin Jorgenson Jr. and I set on the right of Homer. A lot of important people for a green horn like Me to be around. My dad worked as a salesman for a Commission Co. at Union Stock Yards in Springfield Mo. in 1954. He said cattle were being shipped as far north as Springfield because the drought went clear to Texas and beyond. Cattle were shipped with cactus needles still in their mouth.

@@missouritraveler6401 Thank you for sharing your story with me. That brings back a lot of memories for me, selling our calves at the Union Stockyards, when I was a kid.
