Why don't some of the Enlightened ones Come out to Help?

This is a question that is often asked, as to why some of the spiritual masters remain in solitude, and not come out in the society to guide and help the larger population. But how do we know they are not helping?

I'm not Enlightened (yet) but even dealing with people in an aware way you'll find plenty of reasons to not get involved actively: 1. A person who's ready to Seek will somehow find a way to find their best tool for spiritual practice (including a teacher) by themselves. 2. The majority of the population is simply not ready. A wise one realizes that their presence can cause both awareness and chaos. 3. A teacher cannot pull someone into awareness. The most difficult parts are still done alone by the student and require great intent to grow. 4. I personally think having more enlightened teachers in a society that doesnt care or see the wisdom in their actions or words is pointless. 5. An enlightened being doesnt follow manmade ideas of how to improve something. Theyll follow their hearts/universes guidance and because of this theyll always be exactly they need to be even if no one understands why (but he kind of said this in the video). Lastly, people who ask the question why Enlightened teachers dont come out to teach ARE the problem. They want to rely on another to find inner peace. In (most) cases the difference between an Enlightened being and a follower is that an (not yet) Enlightened being at some point starts trusting his own inner tools and guidance, whereas most students are still looking for solutions outside themselves (like teachers).

An enlightened persons Powets are very POWERFULL' I have & experiencing this myself at present ,ongoing at the age of over 70 yrs of age.I was not aware of this but people around brought this to my knoweledge,Ameen. For one thing I am aware of is "I am Spiritual" Ameen.Mehrunnisa

To empower ourselves. With all my respects, the verb "to empower" should not be used, as it is based on the binary structure of the system. Like "understanding", and again with all my respects, I do not and will not stand under anything or anybody. I have always asked myself why so wonderful people still use these words. Simple answer: We try to. But others just won't have what we are trying to teach. This is due to their "mind set ' of erroneous beliefs which they refuse to give up. A possible response from the unenlightened: "I've never heard of that before." Of course, one hasn't heard of different concepts. What you say must fit their paradigm of beliefs. Otherwise, what you say will be rejected as not being "normal". I can't see how the unenlightened can be helped until they realize that most of what they believe came from the ignorance of others. Most of what we were taught are lies. Not intentional lies, but beliefs passed on from past generations.

Ever heard of Sadhguru? There have been many previous two of which I personally had contact with in this lifetime. The rule is if you manage to come before or contact the Enlightened then they will teach you. If you have made up your mind there is no such thing then you cannot come before them. The result is that, for you, there is no such thing.

Well, I am a fulltme volunteer at Isha center since one year. ;-) So much more has happened than "hearing about" him. The talk did not say that ALL enlightened people do not come out. The point is when they do not (and most of them do not), it is not correct to say they are not helping. I thought the essence of the talk was quite clear. I am sorry if it is not. Sadhguru has himself talked about it in Mystic's Musings and in various talks. Most of them do not come out and live in solitude. He said something like "Only a few shamelessly come out to public and say it in open" (for various reasons)

Can anyone give a pointer to the TM Crime in DC journal article that isn't paywalled? The paywalled version is here: www.jstor.org/stable/27522387 Looking at crime statistics for DC mpdc.dc.gov/page/district-crime-data-glance I see yearly numbers for sex abuse going down 32% 2018 vs 2019 and homicides going up 38% 2017 vs 2018. So I find it hard to believe that the probability of a two month average crime rate going down 23% is 2E-9. Even the second chart in this summary www.worldpeacegroup.org/washington_crime_prevention_full_article.html has a fluctuation on 1993-05-15 when the experiment was not in progress that looks about as large as what was observed during the experiment on 1993-07-17. Also, the first chart there disagrees with the second chart. The first chart has a consistent decrease starting in the first week. The second chart has actual crime more than the predicted crime on 1993-06-19. The previous week was during the experiment, and had a lower crime rate than 06-19 both absolutely and relative to the prediction.

Meditation reduces crime? Surely, why not. *** I was enlightened once and it was not well deserved, so I lost it. (only for 3 months). Any other time I travelled and worked in different countries, places. I discovered after time that anywhere I moved the place was raised significantly. The local sport teams won championships after decades a l w a y s, any company I worked for experienced sharp growt in revenues, evil minded people left the place within months. I crashed informal powers on regular base. Everybody gained around me always, except me. Boring.

99.9 % will us the enlightened being for blessings to be rich, promotion, me first etc. see nothing for others. See no further human is full of pride, Jealousy, desire, greed, ignorance and hatred. All these are delusions, causes endless suffering mind, body and sprite. Attachment is the root cause. Even if the enlightened being is presence in the form of human, there will still be great Jealousy and ego why he or she is an enlightened being and not me, not I and not myself. Even enlightened being will not be truly welcome.

From the ancient wise men. You are not the body and mind you are Eternal Spirit trapped in the body, you have forgotten over many incarnations. The Matrix is your own bio computer Virtual Reality point of view machine that keeps You in the illusion of being a physical Being in a physical world via the nervous system and the five senses.( the Fallen Angel metaphor) Meditation is putting the body and mind to sleep but staying separate and Awake and Alert inside until you EXPERIENCE yourself as Eternal Spirit again. Yes if they try to become a famous teacher like Buddha its ego. Buddha already said to be Buddha one has to do different things because Buddha has already given the path, someone trying to do the same thing Buddha did will only spoil the teachings of Buddha. To be Buddha means to have no ego. Try going to Vipashyana meditation center to get more information and to help/heal thyself.
