Turd Ferguson Sorry this is a little late and maybe irrelevant...oh well! Maybe you're giving off unwelcoming 'vibes'- like closed body language? It could be a self-fulfilling prophecy- like, you think nobody likes you, so you behave like nobody likes you, and that pushes people away. Try raising your eyebrows and smiling when talking to people so you seem more approachable and friendly. Be generous in conversation and fill out your responses to show interest.Take a deep breath so that your threat system is switched off and you feel much more relaxed. I hope this helps- I have Social Anxiety and these are a few tips my therapist has given me. There's beauty in everyone :)

I use my videos as a way to communicate to my audience (who are primarily 14-16) the things that I wish I'd had someone tell me when I was their age. At no point do I mean to come across superior because the whole point of my videos is that I was once where they are and I know how it feels to be lost and a bit confused. Not to say I'm assuming everyone feels that way but even so it's always nice to know you can have someone to turn to and I'm trying to be that person....

I done that too, but on the cyber web. People were actually really supportive on there- despite a very small few. I assume that people are more true to themselves when they're not communicating face to face- but i'm no professional.

You're right and I also had to learn that when I was younger. But the thing is, I try not to act upon judgements that I make in a snapshot moment. Ok I might be slightly more cautious, but I will give them a fair chance. And often I regret my earlier judgements, hence, I stick to this principle. And that is why it pisses me off when people judge me at first sight and then make sure that I know that they do not like me. You don't have to like me, but don't be so immature.

I am in my mid forties so I have decades of experience of people not liking me, after a certain age you simply stop caring or even paying attention. The most important point is just be yourself, people either like you or they don't.

Once, there was that boy that hated my guts like crazy. Most people appreciated me in high school but that guy, he hated my guts for no reason at all. I decided that I wasn't gonna let his hatred for me change the way I behaved around people; so I tried the best I could to be nice to him. During an entire year he insulted me and called me names and I answered with a smile. Finally, he changed his mind and even hugged me one day. Needless to say everyone was shocked! kindness can do so much!
