i think the smoothest way to fix this is to give zed the item that gives +4/+4 and +2 cost, this way he can't be played before turn 3 (starting with 3 mana) without any weird "in this case, he can't start with the attack token" program code This way the battle is even more difficult cause the zed will be a 14/12 (3/2 + 4/4 and double it) but at least you have 2 turn to prepare for it

Ah the radiant plate armour, yeah that definitely works too, I think the 2 extra turns is more than enough haha, since Zed BEFORE boss 2 is still winnable (Zed comes on turn 2 since it starts with 2 mana)

You forgot card items and burst summon though. -Summon a 1 cost poro. -Summon a follower with my cost. -Summon a champion with my cost. -Summon a Mighty Poro. These on a cheap Burst spell or on a cheap follower will give you the opportunity to get 2+ bodies down before Zed attacks. Another way to barely survive is by playing champions that have one of these: -Solari Sunhawk -Spell Slinger -The Stagehand -Icevale Archer

Aye I definitely forgot about these items haha. If I'm being completely honest I don't remember any of them 🤣😅, but you'd need at least two of these on one unit since anything that needs you to play 2 cards won't work as Zed will already attack by then. Good idea on those units too. But again, you need to aim for at least one of these cards out of 1000 others haha. Odds are quite low. But good idea man! If you can pick it up, it works!

I do understand that the Aurelion Sol path has to be challenging, and I would like nothing less than a challenging run filled with challenging battles, but I think this battle in particular needs to be addressed, because it seems to be the only one where a scenario may occur where it becomes impossible to win. Making it hard to win is okay, but when something becomes impossible, I think it needs to be at least looked into IMO. Did you forget that kalista support champ comes with this hanted relic in Poc? Also some other things you may have not taken into consideration: Zoe support cards come with supercool starchart with which you can get the round start refill spell mana to get 5 mana and use crescent strike Unyielding determination (speaks for itself)

Very valid points! But the Kalista and Zoe support is early in the game, we won't know if Zed is going to be something we face later on. Unyielding is also legendary which is not only hard to get but also not guaranteed. I think when I made this video I was speaking more from the perspective like if you build your deck a certain way you most likely will not on whether we will face a Zed with the attack token, so if you did not pick up certain powers/champs it might be impossible to finesse a win 😅

I must agree with you as it is almost unplayable as I assume Riot missed this while they were doing the system interface testing (SIT) and now users are identifying issues. Today I also had a similar issue when facing the weekly 3.5 Azir campaign. There is one node called "Ren Shadowblade" so there is a common power called when there is a nexus strike, it's creating a Shadow Fiend. Means 1 mana ephemeral 4|3 stat with an additional item of free attack. So you won't believe it keeps on striking with the attack token with the combination of overwhelm common power. If you do not have many units to block these ephemerals, then you are done in a few turns and keep on generating ephemerals due to the overwhelm damage.

Ah yes, that Ren Shadowblade one in the Zed map is also very annoying haha 🤣. I don't want to be a jerk, but I think the game-testers basically just tried one game, got a good start and were like, "alright this is fine, let's just send this out" haha 🤣.

There exist ways to beat it but yeah the fact that playing as some champions without treasures Zed can strait up 1 turn win is kinda stupid. Now there do exist 3 champions i can think about which can survive turn 1 without treasures those being Yasuo, Gwen and miss Fortune. Yasuo has a level up wich makes his stun one enemy and Summon one unit spell cost 2 less allowing him to stun a Zed and get a blocking unit turn 1. Gwen and miss Fortune both on the other hand Summon one unit every turn as there ability meaning that they will basically allways have the two blockers needed to block the first attack.

True true! Gwen and MF summons Ephemerals which can block. And the cost reduction on those spells with Yas will allow that for sure! I forgot to think about all that tbh haha 😅, but yeah generally it can exist a situation where it's impossible to win

At least block the shadows not the zeds to prevent zed lvl up. Because zed nexus attack only progress his own lvl up, but shadow nexus attack progress every zed lvl up

True, but you need cost reduction to get Jinx on the board with 2 mana. I had 3 because I had Mana Gem, but still not enough. And even if you discard your hand on Turn 1, it's only around 5~6 Nexus and unit damage,

That could work for me yeah since I had the mana gem, but that's a 3 mana spell, I guess in normal circumstances if one did not get the mana gem they probably can't play it even if they were lucky enough to get one 😅
