Electric cars are causing more pollution than other fuel cars. Mining of lithium, tons of battery production, disposal problems, over dependence on coal based power plant, low quality battery components causing fires etc etc. electric car is not our future. Hydrogen fuel cell can be a future along with ethanol based petrol
