Followed your music since the early 00s. Redemption's Son and Our Shadows Will Remain defined an epoch of my life. Now, as an academic psychologist, I'm trying in small ways to re-imagine the teaching of psychology to undergraduates . I often despair of my own originality, but originality is the path to healing the divide between spirit and matter, meaning and mechanism. Communion with the divine in us--the Source material, as you say--is the only way.Thanks for the inspiration. I'll keep trying.

Joseph, remember we had a conversation once about this idea in remembrance of Howlin' Wolf. You're so funny... every time I see you online, it's like we're on the same wavelength. I sent you a Happy Birthday... So here's another belated... appropriately on our fellow Libra/songwriter John Lennon's birthday. BTW, my mother made contact with Jaco's spirit for his family. I wrote a great article about it back in the '90s.

I think what could be original would be to have a hair style that didn't broadcast what you do. Or it's it a contract you sign with the rock gods?

What is originality? It's an illusion. People base their ideas of originality on the perceived originality of others, which is the least original thing one could do. Even those cardinal originals you worship wouldn't have done what they did without building their repertoire on the standards of their time. The thinking in this video is lame. The pretentious old head terminal individuality is embarrassing.
