This happened to my laptop I had just finished editing a video and was at 2% the plug in outlet wasn’t working . So I plugged it in to the usb to see if that would hold a charge but ended up bricking it. Almost lost everything but was able to bring to Apple Store and out into recover then use another laptop to pull all the data off. Never again.
