Why Enclomiphine DOES Work on TRT

There are some who say that a SERM like enclomiphene doesn't work at all when a patient is on #TRT, but it indeed does. Now, it definitely doesn't work as well as as SERM for a patient who is NOT on TRT. And it doesn't work as well as HCG for a patient who is on TRT.
However, due to the fact that semen analyses of patients on enclomiphene show an intact sperm count (though definitely diminished) it is proof that the testicular function is still being stimulated.
If you look at semen analyses of men on testosterone alone, most (not all) are almost completely zeroed out.
The difference is obvious when you know where to look. SERMs do work when on TRT but not in a very overt fashion. LH and FSH are very diminished, but they do pulse enough from the SERM to stimulate the testicles in order to eliminate the atrophy.

Respectfully I watched a video awhile back and he said don't worry about changing from hcg to enclomiphene because you will see enclomiphene works better than hcg now in this newer vid he is saying even tho enclomiphene works that hcg does work better so I'm confused now.

diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism probably in part from heterozygous hemochromatosis: i use to pin T cyp 80 mg week split dose monday thrusday and i had to chase E2 and SHBG. without anything my totoal t drops to 150ng, free in the tank, ihave had 2 strokes the second i attribute to polycythemia caused by TRT (raise in hct hgb) second stroke was a tia, the 12.5mmg of EC took my totoal t from 150 to 300ng. The landmark study has the target value at 530ng for basic therapeutic value. i have tried to augment the EC with humanaforte and apigenin and i cant get it to increase total t and free is something like 5ng, recently i thought to myself if the EC can just keep me from experiencing polycythemia again it would be great. i plan starting with a single injecion, deltoid at 20mg per week of t cyp in addition ot the EC at 12.5mg a few questions: has anyone done this that had problems with hct and hgb hemoglobin increasing and by stacking like this did the lh and fsh stay expressing and did it keep polycthemia from presenting? the other thing my E2 and SHBG use to rise and fall in parallel with anastraxzole/arimidex, i have not used an ai but my e2 is at 19.5ng in a sweet spot but now my shbg is at 45ng, i have tried boron etc and the bottom line is the shbg stays elevated. when you stack ec and t cyp do you have to run and Aaromotase inhibitor and does e2 and shbg normalize or will i have to stack the AI....i use to have to get anastrazole compounded to something like.01 nano dose it didnt take much but i was trying to avoid all of this any help is appreciated

What do you think about using Enclomiphine in conjunction with HCG while on TRT? And another question, 2x a week vs 3x a week of HCG. Is there much added benefit to that as far as increasing testicular function while on TRT? If so, how would you dose it? I have been doing low dose Clomid 25mg x2 week, with .5ml of HCG x2 a week, and 100mg test C x 2 week along with 50-100mg of zinc and have noticed pretty impressive and significant testicular rebound in size along with just feeling better. Ejaclatory volume and orgasm have all improved way more than just running any compound by itself. I cycle the Clomid every 4-8 weeks but was looking at running Enclomiphine instead as it’s safer potentially.

Enclomiphine Ramps up the production quickly in shorter spurts and is out of your System within a day whereas Clomid has a long half life thus allowing it to block estrogen receptors for a longer period of time which can create issues like binding to your eyes or emotions.

It’s pretty available underground if you choose to go that route. I’ve seen lots of successful blood work showing increases in production too but have never tried it myself.

If your testosterone is about 400 range naturally and your estrogen is in the low range around 21 naturally. Would enclomiphene NOT be something to take to increase your testosterone because the estrogen is too low already??? What would be the correct protocol for that situation if you want to keep your testicles in tack yet still want your testosterone to be higher than what it currently is? Thanks !

I just turned 61 pretty good shape and my urologist just prescribed enclomiphene for low T. He said it was worth a try providing my testes were healthy and it was an LH and FSH signaling problem. My pharmacy contacted me an said it's no longer available in the USA. Has Low T Nation heard anything about this? Thanks.

It could possibly be a pituitary adenoma. They're almost always benign, but an MRI is recommended just to make 100% sure.

Hi Brandon, My doctor started me on enclomephine citrate 50mg 3x per week as monotherapy a month ago. I'm 41 and My to test was 480. Is that too much enclomephine? I am thinking about switching to TRT because i still feel same tiredness and low motivation on enclomephine. I am afraid this high dose i am on might desensitize my response to 12.5mg enclomephine to sustain testicular function, any input on that?

It may work at that dose. We've seen it before. Use it long enough to see if it has any effect. If so, titrate down until your numbers begin to drop.

My doctor today showed how ignorant she was when i asked her to check for my LH after being on enclomephine for a month because i am afraid it will be too high.. and she said "don't worry enclomephine decreases LH just like when you take synthroid it decreases TSH because your gland doesn't need to work as hard anymore" That level of misunderstanding scares me. P.s i am the one who asked for enclomephine instead of her clomid suggestion, she hadn't heard about enclomephine before (she says clomid is better and stronger than enclomephine 🤦🏻)

Hi guys , my situation is very simple i was on SUSTANONE for some time i did blood checks and sperm analysis and realized my LH and FSH are both low . One coach telling me that i need HMG cause clomid or HCG wont improve FSH . In that case is that true ? And i swapped to TEST CYPIONATE 250 MG a week is that still ok to stay on ? @@86srki That's a good observation. FSH is incredibly powerful. Even though HCG doesn't increase FSH, the trace amounts that are present are enough to sustain spermatogenesis. There are lots of studies showing HCG alone maintains a very viable sperm count. This is all done without any increase in FSH.
