Boy Meets World was not really a progressive show, and gayness was often a punchline. But something I thought was super interesting was how Eric was portrayed in the episode where he and Jack cross-dressed. Like, yeah, everyone else made fun of him for it, but Eric was super comfortable and in touch with his femininity and it was shown in a way that, even if it was a joke to everyone else, it wasn't to him. He took it really seriously and was shown to even have a sense of comfort in being able to honestly display his emotions. Also the presentation in this video is 10/10 haha very great job

I think BMW did pretty well in being open minded with what they could, like the episode where Shawn cross dressed as a girl and Mr. Feeny said something along the lines of "come to me if you ever need to talk" hinting he was supportive if he was trans.
