Dyche is so underrated but he's done something remarkable, he's turned Everton into a functional and effective team. Which is a bloody miracle when you consider how awful we've we're before him. Adam, bonny lad, are you not just dressing up a team who ‘hoof it forward and leg it? Genuine question. It kinda sounds like they low block/ park the bus, boot it and run like fuck and bundle it in/score. They have a couple of decent players and they are well drilled sure. But………? (No problem with the toffees or Dyche just genuinely interested) The other problem with this approach is when you come up against an other team who play the same way. It’s turgid. And I’m one of those nerds who sits and just watches the defence for a whole game.

Burnley, under Dyche, were very stingy about giving up goals, too. They didn't score much, though, which was a problem. Lots of 0-0 & 1-1 draws, and losses were often 0-1. But the main reason I think Everton will stay up is that this season's Burnley, Luton & Sheffield United are the worst trio in PL history. So bad that you might stay up with only 20 points, and I think Everton will earn over 40, leaving them with 30+.

Some fans were hammering Dyche, that's 100% correct. I've never been one for criticising managers, to the point where, I even defended Benitez. I never took to Lampard, but at no time did I not back him. Although we are now picking up points regularly, we are only a couple of defeats away from people once again calling for Dyche to be sacked. Personally, I am glad we have Dyche, and will give my full backing to him for as long as he remains our manager. FTPL, UTFT.

Dyche's negativity, in-game management and persistence on using old players is his downfall. And it's the thing Everton fans have hammered him for. In terms of organising and motivating? Top notch. But playing football this way requires you to get results. At the end of last season, we didn't look to have much of a game plan. And at the start of the season when we actually outplayed numerous teams but lost the game. It's very frustrating. And as mad as it sounds, I think we've dropped at least 12 points this season (either bad luck or referees or both). Which if we hadn't. The deduction wouldn't even matter from a survival point of view.

Branthwaite had to force Keane out the team and Onana had to force Gueye out the team (Though at least Gueye offers something), despite the fact they're better than them already. And then there's Seamus who I love, but is past it. He gets targeted too. Patterson and others will only improve if they get the chance to. Myko has improved drastically because he's had to play him. If the Patterson gets the same treatment, I'm sure he'll improve massively. Also, I very much hope selling Cannon and signing Beto doesn't end up being a huge mistake. Because Beto is looking like a massive waste of money currently. But look, we need to stick together. And if Young is picked, I'll still support the team. But I don't need to like or agree with it. That's not what they've been punished for. It's all because of financial mismanagement in the early stages of the new stadium construction because their board are/were shit (most responsible left a while ago). The things they suggested we do instead include getting a loan instead of funding the stadium themselves, and suing Gylfi Sigurdsson rather than just suspend him until his contract runs out. The agency that handed out the punishment have stated they gained no sporting advantage from the breach, and that wasn't a dig at how absolutely shite some of their buys were.
