The expansion tool is for smoking the air intake from the air filer. On later modle vehicles they don't have vacuum ports. Always love the video. Keep them coming.

The bulb is an easy intake it’ll block off the intake then you send the smoke into the other hose so it feeds smoke while blocking the intake. Use the cone in the exhaust. 96 is when obd2 came out they used OBD 2 for the body and OBD generic adapter for engine like the bmw used to use the pac man connectors. It’s not obd1 but works close. If you use OBD generic side of the scanner you’ll see the stuff you want

Hey, if i have looked correctly simply get yourself a "C13 to C14" Cable in the required length. Standard enterprise server cable, should be relatively cheap and you can simply extend the reach of the machine.

I would recommend blocking of the air inlet tube when smoking the intake. Sometimes a leak will not show up if it is open.

Picked up a nice thing to check that I didn't consider. I have a '97Mazda B4000 that was showing a vacuum leak and kicking out the code on the OBDII system, and also running very poorly. Never thought to check the brake booster for a vacuum leak. Gonna do that my next chance I get and see if that was my issue. If so, I'll be able to get my truck back on the road, been down for about 2-3 years now because I couldn't find the vacuum leak no matter what I did. Even with my smoke machine, different brand, I couldn't pinpoint the leak. Thanks Steve!!

You can also crimp the vacuum hose to the booster while it is running and see if it runs smoother!!🇺🇸

The orange peel of the paint, two different paints, color was polyurethane and the clear was epoxy. Poly can go over epoxy, but not the other way around, I might be backwards, check wIth your friend Justin @TGOTL, He's a body repair guy, and should know his paints.

Stephen do you think this would work to find dash air leaks on class 8 trucks. The push lock connections they use suck. When they used brass couplers and connectors you could keep air in a truck for days.

With my ‘02 7.3 I’ve had the money light come on a few times. I still haven’t pinpointed it. It usually happens after heavy acceleration when going onto the highway
