Love the new concept. Don't forget that you can sometimes just ask your manufacturer for one also. For my Royal Enfield Himalayan, I just emailed support and they emailed me the detailed engine teardown guide and also sent along the motorcycle teardown guide as PDF's. Then I only print what I need and I keep a copy on my phone in case I break down somewhere and need to work on it on the road. Also, one nice thing about my bike is that all the teardown is done with the standard took kit. It explains which spanner to use for each step, etc. For future shows I'd love to see you guys go over how to restore an older bike. I also have a 1963 Sears "Twingle" made by Austrian company Puch and I need to redo all the brakes and cabling and fix up or restore some rubber items and the generator plate. It's been sitting in a corner as a "someday" project for years.

When working on a bike please be sure to be detailed on how to do it and where the parts are at on a bike, I wouldn't mind having to watch a second part for a video. Also let us know where you find your work shop manuals, tools and parts for all or specific bikes. Hope you read this and find it helpful for ideas and again, glad your back on KZbin.

My last scheduled maintenance was estimated at 1000 USD, since then I bought the original manual and the Cruiseman repair video series for my Goldwing... ever since I spent die extra cash on accessories and gear... and I am in control of what oil I am using and the quality of parts... it pays 20 times over... anyway Ari is super motivated and inspiring... good fit for Revzilla to expand its media platform

Hey Ari, Glad to see you back putting out wrenching content on KZbin! One topic I'd like to see in the future is a top down view of how to do a basic service to motorcycle forks, fork seals and fluid change. Also going over some of the nuance of the difference between suspension types. For example how some bikes come with independently adjustable compression and rebound which each have their own fork leg to work while some cheaper OEM suspension combines compression and rebound into a single fork leg while leaving a "dummy" fork leg with just oil and a spring and the differences in how you service those fork types. Keep up the great work dude!

Ari, having a shop manual is more than practical, it is a form of common courtesy...instead of asking an online forum and wasting the time of every member who reads it, I can just open the book. Relatedly, most motorcycles come with this top-secret book called the owners manual. Find it, open it, and discover ALL KINDS of stuff that will keep the owner from being so ignorant of his or her fine steed.

I am looking forward to this series. I bought my first motorcycle a little over a month ago - '94 Honda Magna - knowing that it would require some work. So far the only work I've done to it was replace the diaphragms and spring from the auto-petcock and the vacuum tube that connect the auto-petcock to the engine. I'm going to purchase a shop manual soon as I want to change the brakes, replace the front fork seals and springs, tune the carbs, replace rusted bolts and screws and eventually take the engine apart and completely clean out the carbs. As far as tools are concerned I bought myself a torque wrench from Harbor Freight, but that's pretty much all I have.

Not sure if you have already made a video covering this topic, But I think it would be great to cover how to diagnose an overheating motorcycle. I recently bought my first bike. 03 Ninja 250r and it started overheating about a week after buying it. I finally found that my thermostat was stuck closed and replaced it and now she's running great.

Glad you are back. This show is a great idea. I also buy shop manuals for motorized vehicle and tool (lawn mowers, chain saws, tractors, etc.) I own. Part of motorcycle ownership for me has always been working on the bike. Without a good shop manual, with an electrical schematic, this would be much more difficult. Besides, where I live it rains all winter long. What better time to take on a bike project. This past winter I rebuilt the suspension on one of my bikes, along with all of the usual maintenance items. I bought my first bike in 1969. I made a few mistakes on that bike, both riding on it and working on it. I quickly learned the value of a shop manual.
