That's a great suggestion, and actually something I've been meaning to do. I plan to reorganize my piano technique playlist (and other playlists) to make it easier for viewers to follow along by putting the videos in an effective sequential order.

Is it okay to move the thumb at the beginning of each bar. Rather than playing the same note in succession with the thumb?

Try it both ways and see what works better for you. The recommendations I give are based on the experience of many pianists and teachers, but every pianist is different.
