How can he take accountability when his feelings are gone, he does not feel any empathy for anyone. He will never change and his condition will only get worse. It would take years to heal that emptiness in him but without the certainty that he would be cured and rehabilitated, he does not even think that he has a problem, he does not even think that he is doing anything wrong when he is hitting someone.

@@Zemlja_je_ravnaExactly. Adam Silver sucked it up but no way he was going to retire. That is him overvaluing himself and thinking the threat of retirement is a negotiating tool to get a lighter punishment. The league and his team are the prime enablers here as he was never suspended for slugging Poole. That there sent the message to him that what he did was minor in their estimation. The league left the decision on punishment with the Warriors and Lacob’s decided he didn’t want Green to miss the ring ceremony as his reason for not suspending him.

Mental health issues ain't no joke, man. Anger issues aren't just getting mad, it's about a loss of control over one's actions. That doesn't excuse it, but interpreting this as manipulation is rather unfair imo. This is something he struggles with rather than being a representation of him. Maybe I'm biased because I struggled with depression and the like myself, but I know firsthand that you don't see the world how it actually is, you see the emotions you feel rather than what's actually happening.

@@josephhanicak7922no offense, but is is bias. Draond has always been passionate and you can excuse his earlier incidents in the same way we do with Pat Bev. But after a decade of this same behavior, with access to hundreds of millions of dollars and all the best mental help facilities, it's a him problem to deal with. He's an grown adult whos attempted multiple times to actualy physically injure different players over a sport. It's probably more harmful to say that it's just his disorder doing all the work, because Draymond is very smart and great at mind games as he admits himself.

Right, but the league allowing him to stay in and make that money is the is the problem not not the people who who haven’t seen that much money it’s definitely it the league‘s fault because they’re giving this man so much money that he doesn’t even need it you know it doesn’t even affect him. He should’ve he should’ve already been Find enough to where it did affect him so that way his actions like showed it. Imagine if you got fined so hard that he had to do a side job after he got off you know NBA practice like a normal person would to help pay extra bills from when they do like assault people and actually you know Get a charge for doing stuff like that on the streets cause Draymond just lucky he does it in the game and only gets a fine out of his you know overpaid you know salary. I mean, he wouldn’t be making that much if it wasn’t for the Warriors and then they just I don’t know maybe the NBA needs so many technical files every year so this is just a way to make everybody feel not as bad like when they see Draymond during a year after a year so it’s a way to keep technical files and that kind of plays around and then they see that even if you’re dirty player it could pay off like it did for Draymond.

Draymond damaged the teams winning culture by creating a more toxic atmosphere in and out of the locker room. He's responsible for losing KD, he's mostly to blame for losing them a championship when he was suspended a game during the finals for his poor behaviour, then he punched Jordan Poole which IMO was the straw that broke the Warriors back. All 3 situations are because of his arrogant, ignorant attitude and then the whole team has to pretend like none of that happened or its not his fault or risk even more locker room drama....which damages the teams cohesiveness anyways. I realize he's also a huge reason for their success as well, but it went to his head and here we are today. Hell, its even his fault they missed the playoffs this year.

People like him usually don’t do well in therapy. People with cluster b personality disorders are notoriously difficult to help. Usually their underlying motivation in therapy is to learn strategies to help themselves in life but not when it requires them to make a perceived sacrifice, even if the sacrifice is temporary. So, altering his behavior, which is what he needs, isn’t something he’ll be willing to do.

@@JimyjonsonKerr in so many words said that Draymond quit on the team that season. How the hell he is still a Warrior is a testament to Lacob’s love for this menace. Green has conned him into thinking he is worth all of the trouble and disappointment that he has brought to the team. No player is more full of it than Green with the exception of his bff on the Lakers. It’s no wonder they are best buds. Their both annoying as hell pretentious phonies of the highest order.

KD's a lot of things, but 'victim' isn't one of them. Wins on EASY MODE and has the audacity to consider himself a champ. Should've issued him bronze and zircons. That would've been fair

Draymond Green is a thug , and Poole was right he is Curry's backpack or I like to think of him as Curry's personal binky , that's the only reason that I could see Curry wanting him still on the team , he gives him a feeling of security like a big ill-tempered pacifier . The amount of problems he causes , to the fact you can not rely on him being there for the big games because he can't control his emotions or his reactions, has made him nothing but a burden for the last few years .

Why do people dislike him, cause he's exactly what Jordan Poole says - an expensive backpack. Yes, nobody doubts he made the most of chances - winning DPOTY is no small feat. But without Klay and Steph (maybe even Iggy) drawing away defenders, he would not be scoring 10+ a game, evident during the 2019 season when he had to be the focal point and ended up the 4th highest scorer on the team even with Klay and Steph injured. On a warriors team, known to be their defender, his shooting shouldn't be that horrific.

I love Steph, but he giving Green a career and defending this piece of sh1t of a coworker is the biggest shadow of his tenure. Draymond's a horrendous person and Curry endorsed it. No excuse.

I believe that Draymond is so afraid of people not remembering his “contributions” to the Warriors after basketball that he does something stupid so people can acknowledge him. But he also knows that most of the players will not retaliate against him out of fear for being fined, and that he will ultimately be allowed to slide for his antics by the league. He’s the poorly behaved kid in school that acts up knowing he will not be disciplined. Safe to say he will never change, or be a player that’s respected by others.

If it was anyone else working a normal job… if u punch someone .. multiple especially… and also choke someone… you are getting fired and probably arrested… why does Dreymond Green who has made millions of dollars only get a light fine + only a 10 game suspension.. he should be kicked out of the league.. fined for his back behaviour and even given a prison sentence… cause if anyone else does it this is their reality so why do sports players get away with it ?

It really mind boggles me how the dubs have so much hope in draymond even though his history. In my opinion he should have been traded back with that altercation with KD. Also that jordon poole trade made zero sense to me and most of the NBA, how did the victim get the hardest punishment? Draymond will never change and the dubs need to accept that.

Dray was my favorite player on those warriors teams (the only warriors jersey i own is his) because he was a defensive menace alongside being a hub of the entire warriors offense. He was also a fierce competitor. But then the antics started to get worse smh. Still an amazing player tbh.
