That is him overvaluing himself and thinking the threat of retirement is a negotiating tool to get a lighter punishment. Draymond damaged the teams winning culture by creating a more toxic atmosphere in and out of the locker room. He's responsible for losing KD, he's mostly to blame for losing them a championship when he was suspended a game during the finals for his poor behaviour, then he punched Jordan Poole which IMO was the straw that broke the Warriors back. All 3 situations are because of his arrogant, ignorant attitude and then the whole team has to pretend like none of that happened or its not his fault or risk even more locker room drama....which damages the teams cohesiveness anyways. I realize he's also a huge reason for their success as well, but it went to his head and here we are today. Hell, its even his fault they missed the playoffs this year.

But without Klay and Steph (maybe even Iggy) drawing away defenders, he would not be scoring 10+ a game, evident during the 2019 season when he had to be the focal point and ended up the 4th highest scorer on the team even with Klay and Steph injured. On a warriors team, known to be their defender, his shooting shouldn't be that horrific.

it’s crazy how draymond being a hotheaded and dirty player pretty much cost his team a chip, hindsight it doesn’t matter as much anymore now that he’s got 4 rings but damn

Remember when the Warriors blew a 3-1 series lead and lost? Pepperidge Farm remembers. Draymond should be in jail and stripped of all his bullshit rings.

Just 1 Mil in fines? Thought he’d def be at 5 mil

I believe that Draymond is so afraid of people not remembering his “contributions” to the Warriors after basketball that he does something stupid so people can acknowledge him. But he also knows that most of the players will not retaliate against him out of fear for being fined, and that he will ultimately be allowed to slide for his antics by the league. He’s the poorly behaved kid in school that acts up knowing he will not be disciplined. Safe to say he will never change, or be a player that’s respected by others.

If it was anyone else working a normal job… if u punch someone .. multiple especially… and also choke someone… you are getting fired and probably arrested… why does Dreymond Green who has made millions of dollars only get a light fine + only a 10 game suspension.. he should be kicked out of the league.. fined for his back behaviour and even given a prison sentence… cause if anyone else does it this is their reality so why do sports players get away with it ?

Why nobody dropped him is beyond me. It would have stopped this a long time ago.

Well I’m hoping it happens before he retires. He is well deserving of it and more.

It really mind boggles me how the dubs have so much hope in draymond even though his history. In my opinion he should have been traded back with that altercation with KD. Also that jordon poole trade made zero sense to me and most of the NBA, how did the victim get the hardest punishment? Draymond will never change and the dubs need to accept that.

Dray was my favorite player on those warriors teams (the only warriors jersey i own is his) because he was a defensive menace alongside being a hub of the entire warriors offense. He was also a fierce competitor. But then the antics started to get worse smh. Still an amazing player tbh.

Draymond jealous of Adams future children on full display. Twice? Really? No. The ball wasn’t in his hands during that one kick.

Damn, he was right in the interview! In 2012 he said in 5 years he would be on an NBA team, have a couple NBA rings, and keep improving.
