The reason why i main Sonic is because of his movements. You can literally dodge a deadly move by just using scatter or flash strike. Sonic relies on movement so when you mastered that, you'll be the most hated player in the server. You'll barely see them in-combat. It's a great character when you're battling against teamers. I'll recommend using Sonic to win against teamers. The things I disliked about Sonic is that his combos aren't really true, just use evasive and block and that combo won't do anything. He can get countered easily and Sonic's kit is the worst. His Awakening is a different story. You'll move so fast that players need to react at faster than the speed of sound to counter it. It's a 100% guarantee kill, you cannot escape from it. (Except Tatsumaki with her flying abilities and Saitama with awakening) Ever since I've been using Sonic people call me a spammer when I'm literally doing a combo or a runner when i never went aggresive or just by escaping a combo that could have killed me. Funny thing is that Sonic players have the same personality as the Sonic in the anime. -They came back after losing. -After losing a fight: "How did i lose that fight?" -Runs to refresh moves or to recover. -going up against strong foes. -very annoying. -has beef with Saitama and Genos. -can be goofy sometimes.

The coping is wild, Sonic has one of the most op movesets in the game. When in a controller players hands it is impossible to dodge. Scatter has insane range and is impossible to dodge. As a Sonic main, something I like to do if they just hold block is either wait for my abilities to charge or if they are. Honestly 95% of the hate comes from people who are just bad at the game and refuse to adapt. It's way easier to complain about your problems than to learn how to solve them. -3 out of the 4 moves can be blocked -Nothing is stopping you from playing something like tatsumaki or genos that counters Sonic -A lot of the moves are predictable, moves like flash strike and scatter can easily be countered by observing the animation that plays before activation (OR JUST HOLD F) -Some of the moves can easily be punished if executed poorly (flash strike and whirlwind being good examples) The problem is that, even though it's a relatively well balanced character (except for the Ultimate), people simply choose to say the same excuses over and over and over again without fail. Things like "Spammer" don't even make sense when the character has cooldown on his moves. "Oh nooo, if he gets me into a combo I lose a lot of health!!", that's how EVERY character works, they just deal the damage in different ways and it's up to the player to learn how to avoid that damage. TL:DR Skill issue, get good

Not looking to fight here, while 3 moves can be blocked, Scatter and Shuriken (Jump Variant) are unpunishable on a character without a counter or range, and flash strikes is KINDA unpunishable if spaced really well. So while yes the damage can be negated by blocking, you are unfortunately unable to counter.

7:04 Atomic samurai can zoning while running too, cuz of his 2 moves : Quick slice and pinpoint cut . You can use quick slice and run away but keeping dealing damage. Sonic haters when someone tells them to "just block": Ok, edit: I just finished the video and I'm not so sure about it, there is a fifth type of sonic player I would like to add although it is almost unheard of but it is the type of player I am when I play sonic once every month or two months called the "Anti-Sonic" where the sonic in question will actually fight you and refuse to run or let their enemy run, also, I don't think Sonic is overpowered since, even if they are hard to catch, when they fight or if you don't lose your composure, they are one of the weakest move sets since their cooldowns kinda suck for having a mostly blockable move set, most Sonic users have become so used to not fighting that they forgor how to which means if you're smart and can cancel their wind-ups they can't go anywhere. I can say for certain that the ultimate is absolutely busted and unfair unless the player fighting the sonic ult is just THAT good, I think Atomic is the best counter for Sonic's ult, especially now with his ult being one of the best in the game since not only can his first base move can cancel Straight On and Twin Blade, base 3 can help Atomic get out of Sonic ult 3 and Atmos Cleave litterally puts you over Sonic's four (which isn't mentioned at all in the video despite it litterally giving I-frames), if you're REALLY struggling against Sonic players then the best way to learn how to counter Sonic is to either actively go after Sonics to see how they behave or play sonic to see how you get countered and then use that later on when fighting one, the best piece of advice I can give any Sonic player is to be an "Anti-Sonic" because while the moveset is mid and people love to exaggerate Sonic since it isn't strong just hard to catch, it is actually very fun to play when actively fighting a person. I started to play TSb when genos added everybody was talking about the next character sonic when sonic added to the game I love the character but also the character has so many issues For example running and other things I'm doing combos to someone and killing him and then he spamming "runner" for no reason if I run or not they are only saying I'm running away Players always see sonic as a running tool nobody sees the character as a normal character

Nah, if you know to use sonic, then it is opposite. Sonic moveset is hard-counter to Tatsumaki. I know from my experience, i tried both characters hard combos. But i always die to sonic with tatsumaki.

I main sonic, bc he has one of the easiest self-taught combos out of all characters. He’s the first character I played, and I immediately learned a 1342M1U (M1U- M1 uppercut) combo. He’s really easy to pilot, and doesn’t give much time to react.

They hate me as a Sonic main cause I run... I run forward. They also hate me because I abuse back dashes and use my skills right after animation so they can't tell if I'm boutta Scatter, honestly I think it's more on being unpredictable rather than being naive.

I main metal bat and sonic, I'd say the main reason that people hate sonic is just because they don't like the way his main counter works, countering sonic is pressing the F button on your keyboard for like 3 seconds while he wastes his moves. But people are impatient
