its paradoxical to dogpile and scapegoat the dude who's main issue is mental (in my opinon). supporters are called just that for a reason, you support players that give you their all, through the bad times and good. Look at Cody, he was getting called for everything, told he was too slow and not 'worthy' of being in this team, he found form and is now probably our best attacking option. The only logical option as fans is to back our players while they are here, especially in regards to a guy that is obviously affected by scoial media comments.

Having said that, you still support the players especially in their poor runs of form or don't support the team at all. It's fine to be critical, you can be critical while still backing the players. 5:35 this is literally an easy goal for Championship strikers, mate. No need to create a thousand excuses. I like Darwin, I think he will become a great player for Liverpool, but it's a fact that he can''t deal with the pressure at the moment. You need a chilled head in those plays. He doesn't have it. He will have to learn. Imagine if he scored half those misses. He would have like 40 goal contributions this season. That's the goal for the next season. Arne Slot will have a big impact on that.

I think the video missed the actual frustration of the fans, we all know Darwin has the technical ability and that's what makes it so frustrating. It's definitely a mentality problem and of course who wouldn't have issues at that level, but the fans sing his name every time he appears, they take shit from every other fan for their support. He's had a lot more backing than most players would, but we've been patient and he has not. I think he really could be as good as we hoped, but I honestly don't know what else he needs to get his head screwed on properly. Gakpo has made a world of difference recently, so why can't Darwin?

Buts it’s EPL, where great defenders don’t give you this time

The irony of this video is the sheer number of examples you're bringing up in one season to excuse. We don't want a striker who scores the odd worldie over a clinical composed finisher who ops for the smart/safe decision. No one is arguing he's gifted and entertaining. The chip over the goalie at Bournemouth sums it up well. Low odds choice to score at 0-0 when he can slot it either side.

I love Darwin but blaming things like trauma and “under-hit” passes for his profligacy in front of goal is ludicrous. Not to mention your conclusion at the end is just you extrapolating that rallying behind him would somehow improve him. I get it, as a fan I share the same sentiment and I think every fan should. That said, I completely agree that instead of spiraling vitriolic comments we should be devoted towards how he could improve. Where we do differ is that I believe no coach or system or player is coming to do that, the ‘only’ person that can improve Darwin is Darwin himself.

The problem for Darwin the way I see it is he's option 2 on attack whereas he times his runs as option 1. The team don't look for him first except for outlet passes so by the time they spot him he's already off. Don't think it was a surprise when Salah came back his numbers dropped. Beginning of the season there was at least some chemistry between Salah and him but that seems to have tapered a bit with Salah trying to score more himself.

Well, this is the main issue with LFC fans. They think too emotionally and believes in giving opportunity to players again and again even if they are failing in their main role. This is the reason why City are the champions again and we have won once in 20 years. I am not comparing city spending power with LFC but think logical they never ever get emotional to their players(most of them). iIf they do not perform well in a season or two, they get replaced. This is the ruthlessness that they have over us. This is the reason why Edwards has been brought into the club. When Edwards did not want to give contract to Hendo or Milner, klopp urged to bypass the Hierarchy and convinced FSG to give contract to him and Milner. What happens last season, we lacked legs in the midfield when we had replaced midfield years ago. Nunez scored incredible goals from distance but do not you guys think this is his job to do. Whenever we go to office and perform our respective duties, do we say that we have performed incredible. Nunez main goal for the team is to score as a number 9. I do not like Haland work rate, however, his main job is to score which he is doing for past 2 years. No one complains that Haland is not moving much, not helping team in midfield or flank, not looking dynamic just like Nunez. So if Nunez is dynamic, chaotic, team player and blah blah blah. why he has been criticised lately. Because his main job is to finish all other tasks are secondary. If I would ask this question to most of the LFC fan, whether you would switch Nunez for haland or Oishmen. They would happily do that and say we need a finisher. How many clear cut chances he has missed. There should not be any excuse for those. He might be talented, he might be late bloomer but club like LFC cannot wait for his talent to groom. What if he will perform the same way next season, and misses such golden opportunities. What will these fan will do or say. "we support Nunez". How many chances you are willing to give him? If he will perform the same way next season, his market value and confidence will drastically decreased. This is the best for club and player to part ways amicably.

Sorry, but this just sounds like excuses and justification.

For people who don't have 16 mins to watch the video - You are wrong about Darwin, he is technically very skilled just has poor decision making, weak mentality and indecisiveness. You are wrong if you think he is a bad striker and can get better with training, he is hopeless because of weak psychology.

Nunez isnt what liverpool need to challenge for major honors. We must be honest with our observations. The lad cant dribble, awful finisher, average link up play and his speed which is his best quality often times he's in an offside position. The fans have backed and supported him like no other player before, let's face it his move was a mistake.

he's showing no signs of improvement, he needs to LEAVE this summer

You must be on Nunez's payroll. No matter what you tell me, he's not good enough for LFC.

This video is a bigger miss than any of darwins this season.

This entire video misses the point of why we want him out. He's a decent player, but bad for the club in general. Failed signing, move on.
@johnroberts883125 күн бұрын
Completely agree. Needs to stay. Club would regret the decision and there are bigger selling priorities. Everyone can miss. The young player needs backing and confidence. As long as he can keep his temper. That could be the thing that clubs could target later on.

You clearly never watched Robbie fowler or Michael Owen mate this guy is nowhere near the level. Bet you said the treble was a fluke. Or was you not born then 😂

man I like your content, but tbh I think you are getting obsessed with the Darwin situation. He has huge potential, can hit the ball, quick, strong, but he is missing a lot, a lot more than he should for a 85mil striker. eventually he will get better with time.

Yes but you’re missing the whole point of the video, which is why xG appeared one decade ago to clarify this kind of situations.
@migueldias610126 күн бұрын
@@blackvalkyrion if there’s someone who doesn’t understand the xG it’s the man who made the video don’t you think? Because the data clearly states that darwin underperforms every metric related to shooting. I just think it’s easier to believe in the player and let him grow at his rhythm than stating facts like “your wrong about him” “he is clearly a great finisher you don’t understand”. We need to accept the fact that he is an important asset in the club, that needs to work in some areas of his game. Thinking that he is great and a top top striker is delusional.

Darwin needs to watch your videos to assess himself and improve his finishing

Hes had 2 seasons at the club. The finishing issue was already evident since he came to this club and it hasnt improved over the 2 seasons he's been at the club. It's clearly a mental issue as we have seen his finishes vs Newcastle Bournemouth but that guy has the mind of a child. Until and unless he brings some maturity in him, hes going to fail.

Klopp's worst ever signing. The guy is crap. No youtube video will ever change that. No matter how bloody articulate you sound.
