It’s really amazing how far St. Pete has come. I lived down there for a couple years relatively recently and the night life/downtown scene is fantastic. I had the pleasure of speaking to several natives who’ve grown with the city and they all said the same thing, “it’s amazing how far the city has come.” The people as a whole are genuine, wholesome, and everyone really seems to mind their own business. Plus it’s not really a bustling city like some might consider Tampa. St. Pete really is in a class of its own considering the uniqueness that it offers

St. Pete in my opinion is a fantastic spot for someone to move to if they enjoy a relatively quiet life with still quite a bit to do. St. Pete offers a lot but you will find in a short amount of time that you’ve exercised just about all you can do that best suits your interests. The food is outstanding and nothing is ever more than a 25 minute drive. The beach and weather are always on point but it can get extremely hot and humid from late spring into fall. I loved St. Pete for the time I was there, but moving there permanently is something that I don’t necessarily recommend for someone who really enjoys the dynamics of doing different things throughout the year. St. Pete is St. Pete 24/7 365. There’s no significant weather or seasonal variables. However, most people move to Florida without having to deal with such variables. All depends where you’re at in your life!!
@angelrey6464 жыл бұрын

All restaurants and bars choked with maskless people, minimal convenient parking (you have to use a valet mostly), the bars and restaurants have been beaten to a pulp by an excess of customers (yes, that's possible), and the paver sidewalks are absolutely filthy. You'd think the merchants and restaurateurs would chip in to clean them ever couple of weeks, at least, but they don't seem interested. And the charm and distinction is disappearing fast as they demolish the buildings that gave the area charm in the first place.

Crime was terrifying and the schools are the worst. It got old having homeless people knocking on my door asking for money or laying on my property. Every month a new drug dealer moved in and the neighbors and I ran them off but another took their place. Now they are gentrifying the area and putting people out on the streets to make way for the Californians.
