It should be instructive on why people shouldn't vote in laws that end up only applying to the "little people", not the wealthy or politicians. If everyone just left each other alone instead of busy bodying the world would be a much better place.
@johnmartin5604 жыл бұрын
It's not just "rich people." Anyone can do it if you live in an area with unreasonably high taxes. It's even easier if you live in a military town because almost everyone has an out of state tag so "Johnny Law" doesn't bat an eye at a car tagged in Oklahoma that's frequently driving around in central Kansas. I may or may not have done this as a form of protest for our local 10% sales tax on ALL purchases including vehicles. Sorry Government, but I'm not paying $2300 in taxes +$400 in registration fees on my modest used vehicle, plus the outrageous $300 annual property tax/renewal fees on that same vehicle. I paid only $970 for EVERYTHING in a neighboring state, & my annual renewal is only $80. I pay that same amount to tag my 1990 Jeep in my home state.. The major takeaway from this video should be taxes suck, and we pay the Gov WAY too much of our hard earned dough, & get nothing, but hassled in return.

More like those idiotic politicians come up with piss poor regulations and laws without taking into account how smart people will find ways around them.
@doc70004 жыл бұрын
That is because rich people pay politicians to put those loop holes in place in the first place, they were literally created for the rich.
@doc70004 жыл бұрын
@n s lol wow was pointing out to loop holes in general and while yes anyone can take advantage of loop holes where these loop holes exist and where they come about tend to be aimed at benefiting those with more wealth then those with less wealth. Someone who has 10 cars. Also while a lot of these rules are claimed to be aimed at generating economic growth often they do not do that but just benefit certain people over others. Like montana isn't exactly a wealthy state so this policy has clearly failed meaning they should ditch it and remove it from the rule book. And really claiming someone is just a hater because they dont agree with you on something is childish and something that I expect from high school kids.

Former Montana resident here. I can confirm that there's no state inspection and sales tax. All you have to do is to go to the county treasurer's office with proof of insurance. In addition, if your light vehicle is 11 years or older, you can register a permanent registration. Edit: also, back in the 90s, Montana had no speed limit. They used to have signs that say "reasonable and prudent speed". Edit2: also nice easter egg on the thumbnail license plate! 406 is the only area code in Montana.
