The Karna has always been my fav rifle, but while i am happy it's getting recognized, it also makes me afraid that it will be nerfed to the ground.

Right? It's always been my preferred rifle since its addition to the game but now its getting all this recognition despite the P4 being the standard for so long. Another gun that has gotten more love from me is funny enough the gallant rifle, the burst mode is clean but it suffers a bit in close quarters.

Yeah I use to use the Karna but then realized the Gallant had a 2 round burst per click of the mouse so two quick click kills heavy armor NPC's. I only use this weapon going forward.

inside the bunker at close range, yes, Karna is good, but if you need to hit anything beyond 20 meters Karna falls off quickly.

Scalpel seems pretty good currently, but P6 LR is my go-to sniper rifle plus it sounds like a canon 🤣

I like also P4, because I can farm quickly scorched attachments for it and it also versitale and balistics what gives some benefits. Karna need scorched stabilizer not lootable in bunkers.

Look for the P4 with a tweaker compensator in bunkers, it'll also have a low light 4x scope and even though it'll just say P4 AR the weapon has a polished frame. If you put it in your inventory it'll have a slightly darker appearance and when it's equipped you can see the polished effect.

For a long while the FS9 was my go to, but recently it’s been replaced with the ever ready and common P4. With a compensator I just find it a really reliable and versatile weapon, and for drug busting bunker missions the single shot mode is excellent especially with its 40 round mag. Ammo is pretty cheap being 200 creds, even cheaper on Orison. And P4s are so easy to find along with ammo. I’m not a particularly good shot but 6-7 rounds will normally take out most AI targets, obviously less if you take careful aimed shots.

Small hidden benefit for 1 gun, and yes it's buyable in shops. The not having to reload on first target/ur probably there ove'i g some of the NPCs gives a small bonus to the demenco LMG. 100 bullets actually put this gun slightly ahead of the karna for me and I'm a pvp autist

I love the C54 SMG, P4-AR with silencer and the FS-9 LMG. And the A03 sniper rifle has a cool design. My favorites😊

I quickly picked up the karna for the reasons you suggested. How ever eventually swapped it for a scalpel and left the other slot empty for what ever i loot/haveavailable/utily tools. Usually a looted karna... Scalpel has shorter time to kill, longer range and serves as a shotgun close range with a holo. Ammo doesnt take much space. Also its fast at breaking in to ships with double shot mode. But the real reason i picked it was because it was cooler.

To inaccurate over distance for me. Karna needs a large ammo capacity due to most of it mising unfortunatley. Anything over 20m and you can pretty much stand in front of it and watch the shots go around you. I prefer S71 as better accuracy making your shots count but you need to find it.

Karna is a very good 1v1 weapon in pvp but as soon as there is more than one enemy you quickly run out of ammo and other weapons become better.

P4 is far more accurate and has an extra 50m of effective range plus it can be suppressed when needed. Klarna still a great weapon that I use often especially against heavy armor.

You get two different P8's in game. An AR or a SMG. The AR you can't get in game unless you bought the Citizencon 2954 Digital Goodies Pack which is no longer available

Ttk is flawed in sc. The same gun will sometimes take 5x more bullets pending on server.

I like the Karna, but I would argue that the P8-AR is a better weapon if your aim is good enough. You can place attachments on the P8 that reduces the recoil drastically. Another reason to pick the P8 over the Karna is the cost of ammo. The P8 ammo on average is around 150 aUEC per magazine, but the Karna is around 250 aUEC. Yes the Karna mag has more rounds, but the P8 in the hands of a skilled player is going to get just as many kills. Ammo cost is now a significant factor especially when it comes to grinding PVE missions which is why I stopped using the Gallant or FS9 with ammo costing around 390 / 520 respectively. (I know you can find it cheaper if you shop around, but I personally don't have time to fly around bargain hunting for ammo). Lastly, I know that the P8 is not currently available for purchase but eventually it will be.

For energy weapons I also like the Gallant better. It has more damage per shot than the Karna and 45rd magazine instead of 35. In 3rd burst it has an EXTREMELY tight grouping and insane right of fire, its like 3 hits for the price of 1. The 5rd burst is a little more spray and pray but if you aim CoM and hit all 5 they are done. Unless you head shot though you will need 2 x 3rd bursts to kill. That TTK chart is using a target dummy basically and I find in actual practice running while the enemy is also running that Karna is going to miss and in use the Gallant is more effective. I also have some mods for the Gallant to reduce recoil as well, some scorched 4x scopes and you can buy infinite Emod Stabilizer 2s. Its P8-AR, P6-LR, or Gallant with a Coda (2x + s1 comp) for me in bunkers.

@@Citizen-Nurseman The P6 is actually still better a lot of the time, especially outside of the bunkers as it 1 shots everyone. The downside is just the range, if someone gets close you gotta switch weapons. The P8 is a little more general use. If you headshot even "heavy" enemies with the P6-LR, its a 1 shot kill. Only the bosses take 2. The P8 takes twice as many shots but they follow up faster. I love both but I can only infinitely use the P6.

Don't really care about SC guns atm because pvp isn't the main focus of the game. Though I do engage with it alot the ttk on guns doesn't matter too much considering the desync is so bad and gun fights usually happen at medium range where getting the jump or having a better position usually win you the fight. Its not like call of duty where you and another guy are spraying eachother and the winner comes down to a gun stat check

In some Pyro bases Inhave founf NPCs having the Karna and ammo, so there ist no need to not use 😊
