Re-uploaded - issue with the music drowning my voice out halfway through. Problem has been fixed. My apologies for the re-upload. There was just no way for me to fix it while it was live. Thank you everyone for letting me know.

I don't click on the 5 tools videos too often unless it is from my favorite creators. I have actually found some great stuff for my needs this way. I think these videos are great if done sparingly. But the creators that put them out routinely I tend to just skip over. I have thought about doing one myself.....so maybe one day! Nice video!

Thanks Chris. I recently opened my own woodworking shop and have my first trade show in 2 weeks. Just basic stuff right now, but hoping to develop some maker-centric items after the new year. You and other makers have inspired me to finally take the plunge. Thanks for motivating videos like this.

I love the sorter trays. I'd love to see a modular expandable version that clicks together like your spray can storage units - let's say, a three-compartment unit that can lock together in series to make a 6- or 9-compartment unit.

I like the unconventional tools videos, Stubby Nubs does a good jobs of them too. Instead of listing off the 5 "unique" tools we've all been using for 20 years - you shared some unique takes on some regular things or a new option from a small business. Keep it up.

Suggestion for the trays; if you store screws, washers, nuts, other metal items, attaching a neodymium magnet to the bottom of the trays will be handy!

The fourth divider parts bin you made is great I think you could even make it better. What do you think about making 1 side of the trim/face board wider so it creates a lip-maybe a 1-1.5” overhang for each bin. Throw some cleats on the back and you can get it off the table while still holding parts. Then when you need it, put it back down and you can still scoop out the parts on the other side.

I love the sorter trays. My two favorites were the hardwood CNC trays and The epoxy-filled trays. The epoxy-filled can give a contrast to the items in the tray. I would order some for personal trays and office use. Keep bringing your ideas to marker.

My son was in HS marching band. They would sit in the bleachers during the game and we couldn’t sit anywhere near them because they were so loud!😂😂. I spent most of my time working concessions so I could get into the games for free! I’ll be checking out the wallet for sure! May have to go back and check out your shirts, too. I know the boy would be all over some of this custom T-shirts…that’s all he wears these days! I’m good with you sharing some of the stuff you’ve found that’s helpful around the shop - sometimes I don’t know I even need something until I see someone else using it!😂😂. Hope you have a great week! OPHS Class of ‘87!!!

Love all the videos. Great ideas for trays . My favorite is the revamp 2nd idea of the more robust living hinge trays. Would love to see that grow to a 4 or 5 drawer set mini cabinet and cabinets could be wall cleat interconnected or stackable wall or counter mounted. What do you think. Keep brain storming you have great positive attitude. Innovative. Thinking . Also you are worthy of competition. Seen 3 other makers now have sander holders but you are the 1 st and best. Thanks.

@AGlimpseInside I definitely think that templates for hand routing the small trays would be amazing. Simple MDF and laser cuts for predetermined sizes? Semi standard sizes like 12 x 12 or an expandable template that snaps together like puzzle pieces. Maybe pieces that are 3x4 OSD and can be used individually or snap em together for larger custom pieces. Personally.. I would buy that. Keep up the good work sir and I hope to see these available for purchase on your site soon

I like the 3x4 resin build for bolts, nuts and such. 2 strong magnets per pod so a person could hang it on there wall and grab and go when needed instead of having to have a special drawer for it or some other time consuming menthod to store it. As for aluminum and stainless steel, ya'll better use good old fasion rust buckets of steel, lol.

“Sorting Tray”? Don’t know how I would use it. When sorting anything, it’s for putting it in a storage container (bolts and nuts) and I simple spread them on the counter before putting them in their respective storage compartment. Drummer? I would have guessed a concert violinist. 😃

Chrs, love the ideas for shop, hobbyists, general utility. I’ve held off buying the magnetic metal ones except for one set I use in the hangar. The wood versions, maybe with the ability to store in a standard tool box, French Cleats, multiple configurations as needed, and where you can change on the fly, would be ideal. Not a “tool” in the traditional sense, an object you can use to me is a tool………..just sayin’. As for promoting others, you just never know when something you didn’t know you needed, you discover you need. I’ve always searched for the “perfect” wallet. I took to heart your comment about the minimalist card trend. I’ve got few I carry which means I organize better, things flow better as a result. Simplicity is a good thing, in your wallet, your tools and shop equipment and methods of doing things. It may not always be possible but the simple path tends to be the least costly, most effective and generate the least stress. I am awaiting your “announcement” as well. I remember we discussed that briefly during our visit. I’m pulling for you and will remain patient as you work it all out. Carla is trying different things with the waste items you sent last May. Nothing to show yet, but she’s got the juices flowing. I’m sure she’ll figure something out. I mentioned your comments to her about making the most of the waste bits and pieces. And she says “HI” to you and the wife.
