Once again, you provide me with great ideas. These days I just sit on the couch with the MC-707 on my lap. Set it up with 3 channels for drum machines and 5 channels for synth. Keeping it simple and totally portable. Maybe I call it "Couch surfing sound waves" 😎🙏

So it's true... everyone needs bass leads because a good cowbell player is hard to find. Thanks for another great video!

What makes electronic music a bit unique in some forms is that bass synths are often filter and envelope heavy. In other words: the low end has hidden sound, and is generally found mostly in electronic music or people who can play tap/slap harmonics on an actual bass guitar or something (and usually with fx).

@@AnalogKitchen Music is maths and that je ne se quoi lol. I have tried to be a student of history and science, and one thing I realized eventually was how transferrable math was to music and vice versa. All of this is just particles and waves bruv lol.

If you can play it slowly, then you can play it quickly. If you can play it simply, then you can play it with complexity.

If you have not seen the content before, I really cannot hype Victor Wooten enough. His solo bass piece entitled "The Lesson" is honestly one of the greatest bass instrumental pieces ever created. That is truly like Bach or Mozart or something.

@@saigonproducer This may be a weird suggestion, yet perhaps you could find a really great bass player or bandmates at a nearby not insane christian church. Some of those musicians are quite talented, and when they are not playing church music for money or fun; they are often playing secular music for fun and artistic reasons. (And perhaps the hope of a gig, soundtrack scoring, or composition style music career) Hanging out in music shops, and being friends with the employees also helps probably. So long as you arent annoying them or literally never buying anything. (Although I doubt they care all that much if you are hanging out and talking to customers about gear and skills and stuff. Just dont overstay your welcome obviously. And maybe dont play a ton of instruments unless you actually want to buy something soon).
