Fun fact, Puddle Punch gets affected by melee items because it's considered a 'light melee'. You could use Spirit Strike and Lifestrike to make it hit harder.

It gets affected by weapon damage, but also means it does not benefit from spirit items, which makes itemising a bit weird. Also last hitting with puddle punch also neams no deny orb gets crated caise it still counts as melee

Its largely play rate x player skill Your average player is bad at the game ((they dont play alot, dont play many mobas, and the game is both new and changing weekly)) So your average player lacks the skill expression to make viscous work

Viscous and Paradox are the two characters that really resonate with me right now. Viscous is for that full Spirit nuke oneshot outplay, Paradox for the gun build with kinetic carbine. Both have insane movement tech and outplay potential. I love Deadlock!

been a viscous lover the instant i played them, being able to combo enemies around with punches, even midair and being able to hit good splatters/punches while controlling his ult. playing a character based around playing with the source physics engine basically gives such a skill cap to a character that can literally push around whoever they want if they are good enough. also cube is an insanely good ability idc

I could 100% just look it up on my own but would be fun to learn w you as you play. And to answer the end question piggybacking off my previous comment, a short solo intro of the character and their basic abilities like you did, add on some of how the “build” works and a brief explanation of how the basic game/map mechanics work, then just jump into the friends part and let it roll (chefs kiss). Don’t have to get crazy detailed, just so that someone who has little to no experience of this game and genre can follow along with the fun gameplay part. Think it would help you build more long term viewer retention

I find him odd. I got turned into a green cube, and I thought I was being attacked. Then I realised it was a support ability, which actually has a cancel option. Suffice to say, my mind was blown.

Viscous feels amazing cause he has a ranged displacement tool that is not an ult. You can punch people to you and your team, uou can pop them up into the air out of cover, you can even use it as ranged poke to people behind cover is great.

Thought the worst hero is McGinnis? And tbh, all the heroes seem pretty good. Obviously there are some that are best/meta, but the worst hero isn't like you can't play them at all. Maybe at the highest skill level it will matter big time, but at the dogwater skill level, which most of us will be at, all heroes should be viable.

Yo fruit, if you ever get punched up by a Viscous or are in ball form too high above an enemy, you can double click control to quickly drop. It is a fast fall like in smash, and does take 1 stamina.

Played a round with Viscous laning against a Beebop the other day. Beeb kept on trying to stick me with a bomb, and I'd just cube up when it got close to going off. Tilted them pretty hard I think! The kit is really versatile, and he hits hard too. Good hero.

From what I've seen, Viscous' ball damage is boosted by velocity, so if you can ball into a small tight room and pinball around, you can do a *lot* of damage very quickly. Loving the deadlock videos, mainly because of how much of a good mood you seem to be in the games even when you're losing. Happy to hear this is scratching that battleborn itch, can't wait to get into it myself at some point.
