You clearly have no idea about such topics. First off, EvolutionX tries so hard cramp up a whole bunch of features even unnecessary ones which causes the rom to be unstable. LineageOS has always been more into simplicity and reliability, and will always be the mother of all custom roms.

I do not really get the point of making more free OS. LineageOS is great, because it supports many smartphones for many years and it has many devs that put their heart inside. Instead of making everything from the ground new, with no real benefit, why not support Lineage and make their OS better, more available, etc.

@@Prateekyzf I personally think that the very first installation is not easy. But once you did it, you have software support as long as free devs convert the "official" pixel updates from google to lineage. In my opinion, if you have a new google phone, just keep it until the software updates run out and then switch to lineage OS. For older Pixel phones, I think you are on the more save side to switch sooner than later to LineageOS if security updates are important for you. All is only my personal opinion ofc

Allow me a laugh with this video. The title was very funny for me 😂 Evolution X better than LineageOS? Only if we refer to which of the two consumes much more RAM: Evolution wins. LineageOS is much more fluid and saves a lot of resources, including RAM memory. Evolution X has a long way to go to become the best Custom ROM, and another long way to be the mother of all ROMs: like Lineage is. (Tested on Devices with 8 GB of RAM. LineageOS: 5.1 GB free, Evolution X: 2.3 GB free) Maybe now as final User you thinking about why Evolution X takes more RAM than LineageOS: and it is caused to how many is Google Apps present on that ROM. The official LineageOS source does not include Google Apps by default. This gives the user the freedom to choose how present Google will be on their device: or if they do not want Google to be integrated inside the ROM. It also does not offer certification for Google Play Services by default: and this can be chaotic for many (Generally if they choose to use Google services) but come on: it is not that bad either, taking into account that Google allows the certification of devices with Custom ROMs, which benefits LineageOS users.

Hi, Im using lineage OS 21on OnePlus 6t for several weeks, it's so smooth that you'll never feel that it's a custom os but some drawbacks I'm facing like proximity sensor not working, speaker quality degraded so in above 80% you'll feel distortions. I'm thinking about switching on another os but the smoothness is truly amazing in lineage os idk why I'm facing this silly problems...

On XDA I saw an unofficial vanilla version of ArrowOS for that model which I'd try first. You'll see other custom OSs to choose from there as well but many aren't vanilla and have GApps which use more system resources.

Evolution x need minimum 6gb ram to get smooth performance and Lineage os only 4gb ram can get Max performance So if you haven't more than 6gb ram don't install evolution x ☠️
