Excellent effort Prem. I am from Assam which has the closest links to SE Asia historically and culturally of Bharat. There are villages here that are closely Thai in culture, architecture and language but they are all fully integrated to the Sanatan Dharma of the mainstream. Assam's history includes its involvement in the Mahabharata.

18 yrs ago I lived in Indonesia and extensively travelled Bali . The experience I felt when I saw the culture of Bharat inside the villages in Bali was unexplainable. Saw may statues of Indian sages in the temples, some still untouched by modern civilisation. Good to see someone else also experienced it

Namaskar sir, the place which near to Mysore District and one and only Triveni Sangam in South India, there is a temple named agastyeshwara and this place worshiped by him, presently renownovating going on by govt of Karnataka.. You can take chance to cover it.. A historical place.. T. Narasipura

I was in Bali, Indonesia and I was so thrilled to see their temples and their culture. One thing I want to emphasize here is to bring the word 'HINDU'. People in Bali said they believe in Hindu religion from the days of Agasthya muni. Yet there are so many stupid people saying that the word Hindu never existed. Please investigate the word Hindu while in Bali as to how long ago the word came about.

True brother. He is not just a mythological figure. For me, Agastya muni is very personal, very real through the giving of the sacred Agasthiyar Vazhipadu discourses.. so happy to see you embark on the sacred journey of bringing the vast details of his continuing contributions to the world.. I have not come across any other divine being that who has maintained a continuous presence through time .. beginning from the rig veda to the current modern world..

Here v go: for an xyz fee: they will look up ur name: n read from the Patra written by Agastya Maharaj: ur past, present n future predictions. They do have an initial interview vr they take a brief of ur personal present: but I suppose it's to give a perspective to the readings. They write n give a tape recording too. I was really surprised. N delighted. Agastya Rishi also gave the solo discourse on Reality in the AshtaVakra Gita. Plenty more. Like u said: Kaliapattram: ++ ThQ. Best wishes for ur Research Film. I spent a month in Bali studying the culture summer of 2024. Trihitakarana has been woven into fabric of society. Indians can learn from Bali on how to integrate a vasudevakutumbakam attitude in daily life from the Balinese. Hope to go there again the the near future. I have adopted their kamen (sarong/lungi) into my daily life as well

In Bali Island, there are several ancient Maharsi Agastya pratima statue (idol). Also in Kingdom of Bali inscription from 11th to 14th century, mostly mention Maharsi Agastya with a deep respect.
