Why Fairy Tail Sucks Now.

Faairy Tail had potential to be one of the BEST series of all time, but due to the lack of planning during the Final Arc of the original series and during Fairy Tail 100 Year Quest... this causes the series to fall off dramatically.

Mashima lost me in the finale with Acnologia and the secen dragon slayers. He was and is hyped as the strongest dragon slayer in the series, but he takes taken down by one punch from Natsu because of the power of friendship and for only one year of training after Igneel died. Yet, Acnologia has been alive for at lest 4 centuries, which means he has mastered alot of martial arts and magic techniques. I get friendship id the theme of Fairy Tail, but there is so much a reader can take when that concept is use for almost literally everything when the heroes seem to be losing. That was a slap in the face for The Arcane Dragon.

I recently read Rave Master, and I can tell you that this was peak Mashima from start to end, the characters, the story, the worldbuilding, the plot twists, the fights, the progression, everything was so good that now it is one of my favourite shounen manga. We know Mr. Mashima can be amazing when he tries but now he just doesn't seem serious about Fairy Tail as he used to be and working on three different mangas does not help in any way, he also said some time ago that doing so many things at once is taking a toll on him and that he has diffficulty to keep up with three stories. My suggestion would be to have Fairy Tail go on a hiatus so that he doesnt rush and give Eden's zero a bad ending because EZ will end soon and he doesn't have any plan to make Dead Rock a lengthy manga so it will also end soon which means that in the end he will be left with Fairy Tail. By going on a hiatus with FT he can think things through and hopefully improve them, he will not have much load, EZ can get a good ending and by the time EZ and Dead Rock get wrapped up he can give all his time to FT which will hopefully give us better arcs (at least better than the ones we are getting) and everyone can be happy. Mashima continuing Fariy Tail after the defeats of Zeref and Acnologia is like Disney thinking they can recapture the magic of the MCU with the OG Avengers from 2012 that concluded with End Game. The best stories have a pre-determined end and to extend them past that end is just butchering what made your story good and memorable in the first place.

Nastu being able to defeat the Dragon Gods that were considered equal to Acnologia isn't much of a stretch as Nastu beating other opponents earlier in the series, because at the end of Base Fairy Tail Nastu was shown to be able to beat a Dragon of Acnologia's level. The Dragon Gods are actually weaker then Acnologia just based off powers, in which Acnologia was immune to magic, so its really hard to see them being able to beat him even all together. Also they all fled to Guiltina in fear of Acnologia. While the Dragon gods themselves stated they were more powerful, it was based off their arrogance. After the Wood Dragon God fell, it was very obvious that the others would also be done in similar fashions. Personally just feel like you have outgrown the series. The series has always been in the middle. Mashima when he first made the series stated that it was going to be fun, happy series with magic. While it got dark at times, no main character have actually even been killed off. I think the darkest it even got was Ultear backstory. I enjoy it for what it is, but personally the problems your having now, have been present in the series since oracion seis arc. Its all rehashed in different ways with opponents that are hyped to be superior to Fairy Tail, but end up being beaten by them in the end.

Nah I gotta disagree with you man, natsu base form wasn’t strong enough to beat acnologia. Acnologia destroyed all 7 of the dragon slayers 1v1 without trying and it took natsu combining all their powers together to defeat him and they fled acnologia when they were younger but they obviously grew. It’s not me out growing the series, it’s hiro mashima not planning or thinking out the series at all like he stated in his interviews and if he planned it out I would enjoy 100 year quest just like the original series before he began rushing that

How is that any different then how they defeated Acnologia. Somehow one is trash one is not. Yes they got defeated first against Acnologia but Nastu and the Fairy Tail guild have also grown since the end of the series. Gold Dragon God to me was nothing compared to Acnologia so it made sense it was a cake walk. To me the Dragon Gods were over hyped by Ignia , and that is why their easily going down. You just bought into the hype, I didn't. I always thought once Fairy Tail got to the continent that the Dragon Gods weren't the real threat and would be defeated easily. As for Hiro, he always said that. He planned for Fairy Tail to be only as long as Rave Master, but continued because of the popularity even though he had no end for Fairy Tail in mind. He stated in the beginning the only thing set in stone for Fairy Tail was " Nastu is a boy looking for the Dragon who raised him" He never planned any of it, all of Fairy Tail is spontaneous 1 chapter at a time. He said he had his next chapter all finished were he planned to kill Marcorov on Tenru island but then he met Marcorov's voice actors and liked him so much he decided to re do the chapter so that he wouldn't die. Their are many other examples of him doing this. Hiro also stated that Fairy Tail went on for far too long back during Edolas arc. So for me its surprising your surprised Hiro is like that when he has always been like that. Its one of the reasons Fairy Tail haters hate everything after that arc.

I’m hoping a new chapter will make everything that’s already happened a sike and turns out that most of the story so far was just an illusion created by one of there enemies to tease them, whether it being part of Mashimas plan all along, or just to fix the mistakes that already happened. I would say that the Main Reason Mashima has Been trying Less with his Current Series is because he Tried in Fairy Tail's Original Series, and he was just Being Rushed, and despite the fact that he Tried so hard to make the Series Relatively Cool, Fun, and Well Planned out, People were still Being Assholes to him. Honestly, with how many people Insult his Hard Work, it's fucking Attrosious. I even think he Recieved Death Threats from some Haters (Cannot Confirm nor Deny this, it's just a Rumor as far as I can Tell). I mean, how much of a Loser do you have to be so Hateful Towards a Guy because you didn't like a Story he made that was made to Entertain Teenagers. Then most Likely going to watch other Shonens that do the Same thing as Fairy Tail, except Arguably Worst. It's still a Beutiful Story that teaches an Important Lesson about Friendship, Connections, Repentance, etc. And he made this Story based off of a Night with his Best Friends. Imagine going on a Bender with your Best Friends, and Creating a Story that Rivaled Bleach to be one of the Big 3, and almost won. This man is a Genius, and deserves so much more Love and Respect, even for just the Virtue of his Patience alone. Yeah, sure. Maybe the 100 YQ isn't Peak Fiction as it is Right now, and the Dragon Gods are being Beaten a Little to Quickly, but the Story is still Entertaining and Fun, the Fights are still Cool, the Characters are as Likable as Always, the Artwork is Amazing, and the Possibilities for Ignia as a Character Still has me at the Edge of my Seat. And I say Screw anyone who tells me that this Show doesn't Deserve Respect.

Maybe you’ve outgrown the series, not saying that your criticism is not valid but sometimes we just fall out of series without even realizing it, and Fairy Tail is a Shonen I think and you were the target audience when you were younger when you first started watching it as let’s be honest I like Anime but a lot of them especially Shonen’s are for teens with Seinen being for adults with it being more ultra violent and so on but I know you probably wouldn’t care too much for that as you are following Christ now and good luck on your journey when it comes to that. But anyway maybe the creator is getting tired of Fairy Tail, I mean it happens sometimes writers will quickly try to do a story to be done with it as he has been working on it for so long, you get fatigued and tired of said series which is why to me series should have a good stopping point big drag on if there’s no need for it same goes for comedy shows if your running out of ideas just end the show don’t keep it going but we know most times it’s companies being greedy for money so they’ll milk the series to death.

My advice: If you intend to make videos about any other manga/anime that seems new, I highly recommend jujutsu kaisen - the best and most popular series right now or maybe the other new gen series like one piece, boruto, chainsaw man, one punch man,... Surely the views of each video will far surpass other videos you have previously made about fairy tail.

I don’t think it's a issue of not planning stuff after all toriama (the creater of dragon ball) doesn't plan things out as well but his work actually reflects that. Fairy Tail sadly doesn't have that luxury and this franchise is showing his age. Edit: I'm just going to put this here. I feel the issue is a lack of creativity. Yes dragon ball is flexible but Fairy Tail doesn't have any real rules. In fact this story should be the most flexible out of most Manga.

Fairy tail is a series that was planned from the beginning with that being shown between Natsu and Zerefs relationship and natsu being born 400 years ago so to throw out planning for the fairy tail story is throwing out a key part that made fairy tail what it is
